  • Have to reread "With Moss On the Mille Miglia" by Jenks to see if one can find out what check point this was.Sir Stirling seems to be out of the car,and they are working on the tires.Absolutely neat, too bad one can't assemble all clips, and photos of 722 on that day.

  • This was in 1955 not in 1956. After the 1955 Le Mans accident Mercedes withdrew for many years.

  • How about acknowledging one of the greatest drivers of our time " Sir Stirling Moss ".

  • Killer Benz which with so little to work with back in Germany in 53-54, it's amazing these cars came to fruition.

    Wow...

  • 1955!

  • SLR 722... the most beautiful, powerful and legendary sports car ever!!!

  • Fantastic is very GOOD!!!!

  • Would this not be the 1955 race?
