  • you dont get to see this on ABDC, SYTYCD or whatever show> if you want to show people what original bboying is, this is an excelent video to show them.

  • This is rock steady crew.....

  • this are not the rock steady crew !!! why do they use that name?

  • Mr wigglez in here lol rock steady crew still livin larger

  • OLD SCHOOL GENIOUS

  • Excellent choreography !!!!!!!!!

  • So Rock Steady is just a Brand now I take it? where members are interchangeable like the Harlem Globetrotters or something?

  • yeahhhh man that's my ish! classic breaking from the most legendary crew of all time!

and this footage itself is 3 years old too, so the original members continue to keep getting older and older lol!

actually the originators weren't even crazy legs and them, there were a couple cats who started the whole crew then eventually included legs, freeze, wiggles, baby, etc

go watch 'freshest kidz' the documentary, pure hip-hop history

  • oh my god that last coment scared me a lot...lol...

  • anyone know where 2:17 is from cuz i wanna use that sound in a dance im doing for my talent show

  • they grown up now arent they since the early day havent they?

  • fully sick breaking....

  • These guys are legendary and one of the still remaining forerunners of the HipHop dancescene from the 80's. They were a global example for the BBoy scene back then. These guys kinda introduced Break/PopNLock in Europe. In Holland they scored a number 1 hit with Hey You RSC, because HipHop and Breakin was very new back then. Without this crew, and legends like Turbo, OZone, Boogaloo Sam etc. ultimate teams like Jabbawockeez, Quest Crew and others were not there where they are now. RESPECT 4 RSC!

  • "BORICUAS"!!!!

  • déchire

  • The guys that cptdekker named off were mostly 2nd and possibly 3rd generation RSC. Jo Jo was the founder. Then after that there were people like Ty Fly, Take One, Frosty Freeze, Kippy Dee, Lenny Len,Crazy Legs, and Mr. Freeze. The people in this clip are mostly guys that rep RSC but are in other crews as well. I only recognized Sugar Pop, Mr. Wiggles, and Jeromeskee. I thought maybe Lego was in there, but their solos are all too short to tell.

  • Buck 4, Kuriaki, Doze, Ken Swift, and Baby Love were all 2nd and possibly 3rd generation. Jo Jo was the founder. Outside of that you had people like Kippy Dee, Ty Fly, Crazy Legs, Lil Crazy Legs, Frosty Freeze, Take One, and Mr. Freeze. Some of those people might even be 2nd generation as well, not quite sure. Out of this group here, most of which rep RSC but are also in other crews, I only recognized Mr. Wiggles, Sugar Pop, and Jeromeskee.

  • xactly!!!!

  • oh yeah! now i remember crazy legs is retired just like all the original RSC members but now theirs a new generation it came out on some show but idk crazy legs nd others are dead i doubt it anyways

  • you r right there is no Crazy legs or none of the other RSC members

  • Crazy Legs is there. He's wearing the white do-rag. He dances at 0:25 and at 3:00.

  • @MadMikeBeliso and ofc, Mr wiggles is being obvious

  • s far as I remember:

The original RSC wuz Crazy Legs, Buck 4, Prince Ken Swift, Kuriyaki, Divious Doze and Baby Love. correct me if I´m wrong.

Big Up 2 the ZULU Nation.

  • @cptdekker

    BEATSTREET

  • isnt the guy with the bandana next one???

  • Crazy legs is an original i went to high school with him in the bronx and they used to come out there and do there thing

  • The best shoes are.. Nike tn cross trainers .. The best but very expense.. Their like jordans old but rare and expense and very hard to find they r still in the high hundred dollor range

  • What are the best shoes to break dance?

  • who is the girl in this video?

  • whats the girls name?

  • i see skillroy and dezzy dez aha

  • Agreed. Best performance I have ever seen too.

It has an authentic essence and vibe about it!

  • Mr. Wiggles is rockin that shit.

But i like Da Boogie Crew too!

  • by far the best performance peice ive ever seen...perfect execution, all in sinc, not too intimidating, simple, easy, yet amazing, and inspiring!!!

  • choice move @ 2:04

  • does any1 have the music when mr wigglez does his solo :D ? ty :D

  • mr wigglez solo is the BOMB ! :O !!!

  • NYC Breakers baby!

  • Now thats wut i call flava.

    they still got it

  • Only wiggles is original Rsc' doe

the rest are Mercenaries oncludin the french girl.

  • You forget about Crazy Legs, who was the founder of Manhattan Rocksteady Crew, which is the group that we all know. Wiggles joined the group a few years later.

  • right...wiggles was originally mag force...but has been rsc for quite a while now. Suprised nobody said anything about Sugapop out there too...one of the original boogaloos. He's the same age as Wiggles...(Wiggles is electric boogaloo as well though)

  • @MadMikeBeliso you forgot the very first two rocksteady crew. Jimmy d and jojo. are the founders of rocksteady crew then later on passed it to Crazy legs.

  • i stand corrected legz also is an original

  • yeah i i musta missed him during the show

ill wacth it again doe & yeah legs too.

  • amazing

  • wats the girls name?

  • Dang I thought they where gonna be all crispy because of aging, but they proved me wrong. Tight mang!!!!!!!!

  • esta leve

  • dats some dope choreography

  • 2:00 is sick

  • Ah....sweeeettt!!!!

From early 80's ...and past the millinium..

RSC is STILL freSH!!! I remember them back in the day in the 80's...homeboys at my H.S. would clear-out the Quad at lunchtime with their big ol' boomBox, mixers and scratchers and bust out with the killer poppin' breakin' n spinnin' moves!! And it didn't matter WHAT you were..blacks, whites, mexicans and ev' 'thang in between were out there!

Dancing today just ain't dancing...NOT like these bboys in the 80's laid it down!

  • notice everything was so crisp and precise...no sloppy shit here....thats what the rock steady crew is all about

  • this is crzy shit at bout 2 minz

  • Hey, those that say super cr3w sucks, are haters also. So u guys got the nerve to tell me i'm hatin', when you guys got mad over a comment that is just an opinion

  • i didnt know they are still (2007) rocking like this!!! thats style yeah!! RESPECT to maby the most important crew ever... watching modern crews, i sometimes miss "the oldschool" in their way moving. but the new skills of top bboys are incredible and original. keep on breakin, peace..

  • much respect to the pioneers of bboy culture, learn your roots niggaz.......

  • xD the china bboy crew is called pioneers

  • mickey u are so stupid with your coment ..RESPECT THE ORIGNIS OF BREAKING ...who do you think coems out in the video of africa bambata and the soul sonic force..THE ROCKSTEADY CREW... thats where breaking came about ....think before you post a coment triying to diss the esence of bboying..just because you saw supercrew on MTV doesnt mean that is the only crew out there...dumbass

  • dude, i never said i'm disrespecting the essence of b-boy. As a matter of fact, maybe YOU should think before you write... STUPID!!!

  • ...

even Mind180 or Concrete Allstars from Usa wld rip up Super Crew in a battle. Watch a crew like Gamblerz, Spin Kings or Mortal Combat for excitement and crazy tricks.

  • show some respect

  • Super SUCK DICK Crew has nothing on ANY of the crews that InfiniteStyleCrew just said.

show respect man and learn about Rock Steady Crew. they inspired the crappy ass Super Crew

  • SAD

  • is that jeromskee o.O from massive monkeys? I didnt know he reped rock steady also.

  • WOW!!!! Such a clean showcase, with dam clean toprocks and footwork! Wish they could teach me...

  • They still Breaking, popping and locking...

  • rock steady crew is cool

  • Is this the same rock steady crew as the one in 1980's?

  • The same Rock Steady Crew, but Crazy Legs is the only remaining dancer from that period.

  • well is not the only old rock steady alive. a lot them are still alive!!! ken swift,mr.freeze, lil crazy legs,mr.wiggles etc.

  • Well kid kamikaze is not alive i think and Kuriaki I heard he die in accident. I saw his video he was bad ass. I love the old RockSteady crew!!

  • well i know that they're dead but the comment said Crazy Legs was the last one alive., which is not true

  • damm Mr.wiggles is killing it!! dammm..

  • I thought that was Wiggles...but I was like "nah, couldn't be..." LOL Glad to see some of the older heads are still around doing their thing!

  • 1:58-210...WOOOOOOOOOOOOW....MUrDeRED!!!!!!!!

  • Wow. This is so classic. Unlike the Korean showcases. I love this shit. Rock Steady ftuw.

  • HOLY SHIT! I think i found my new fav crew! They moves r freaking sick clean and creative!

  • Are they the original Rock Steady Crew group that use to perform back in the mid 80's because if they are, they're still awesome and fantastic!

  • Only Crazy Legs (wearing the white doo rag) is a member from the 80's. Mr. Wiggles (spotlight solo) became a member years later. I still remember the day my cousin Gilbert and I went to watch Flashdance in Hawaii. That was the first time I saw breakdancing. The next day, Baby Face, a member of The Foot Rock Bunch did some moves for us. He was taught by the Rock Steady Crew, who also taught countless others around the world. So I give RSC credit for making breaking what is it. =)

  • these guys are not the original they are all to old now lol these guys are the new generation...i was dancing to the original crew when i was about 13..they was the top hip hop crew around back then..

  • @neildjreid you must have enjoyed the time it must bring you back memories.

  • impresionante!!!

  • Still fresh!

  • that shit was raw

  • hey, you guys notice that wiggles doesn't do crazy knee drops anymore???? if you look close, he can barely do a squat. I feel so bad for the guy

  • For what? don't feel sorry for him he still doing his thing at his current age. He had his time to do all that and for him to still be bustin' is a influence to us all.

  • Do you mean Expression Crew?

  • to tc213:

The bgirl is bgirl bonita. She is dope.

  • impression crew is much better

  • As far as crew, are they still the best?

  • bboying has advanced so much so there is no best crew actualy but this crew is legendary

  • usually, when they talk about the best crew, it's not American but either Korean or French. But as RayTide9 explains, this crew is legendary.

  • That rocked my suburb. Loved that old skool fresh breaking. Just the right mix of old and new combined. Kudos RSC.

  • i like this song

  • who sayz ol skool aint fresh!!??

  • These guys are good!

  • RSC represent!!! These dudes should get more recognition in hip hop.

  • That was Fresh

  • This was quite impressive.

  • great show!!!

much love to the whole RSC!!!

  • 2:18-2:40 was sick!!

  • Dam i saw this last year when i started popping, people think im good but my style is like Wiggles here.. i didn't even know that was him till i just re watched it. he is a good inspiration to popping :D

  • Hey Kyrusious, if you haven't already done so, check out "MR WIGGLES @ JUSTE DEBOUTE JAPAN" here on YouTube. Great quality, and Mr. Wiggles hits some awesome moves.

  • kk Aight

  • there is no luigi there...?

  • Respect!!! Wery cool, dame!!!

  • whos the b-girl with black hair near the end?

  • Mr. Wiggles and Suga Pop wow

  • Yeah, that's why they're bboys, and not uprockers, but don't call them "breakdancers" either.

Like I said to you in the other vid, King Uprock one of the still active members of Dynasty Rockers, is down with Ken Swift in Seven gems and Ken Swift has done his efforts to research more in depth about the

  • King Uprock is not a member og 7Germs he's DynastyRockers

  • Yes, I made a huge error in thinking that based off footage I saw, and thought I saw him rocking in a class trailer with Kenny.

  • old school dances before breakin in New York. So if these old school guys you speak of, are down with Ken Swift of RSC, if King Uprock is willing to judge even bboy events, then you have no right to say anything, because he's a credible part of uprocking, more than you.

If you don't believe me search for King Uprock and Ken Swift with uprocking in the search, and look those vids up.

  • Hey Firemikey, you remember when Ken Swift and Crazy Legs were on Letterman? There are a couple of clips here of them dancing, but they didn't include the actual interview, which was hilarious. Someday, maybe I'll post it myself, since I've got it on VHS somewhere. =)

  • The bboy at 0:47 of the clip is Roy AKA skill Roy from the rock steady hawaii chapter. You can see a few of his clips on youtube. Roy is fucking AMAZING, Ive hung out with him a little in hawaii and watched him dance alot. He has a very very clean style. I was lucky to hang out with alot of the RSC hawaii members when we flew to CA for the bboy summit 99, hes pretty old school, and a cool ass guy in general. Far as I know hes been in RSC hawaii since around '97. Bboy Tron, representin since '94

  • still going strong not quite the impact of 1980s though .. I mean where a fucking robot..

  • Impressive.

  • I hope they re-unite and put aside what happened one day, but that's up to them.

  • what happend

  • This was in 2007, don't worry they are already back. Thing is, the original crew.. at least what's left from them, is slowly getting to old for this. The new generation Rock Steady is rocking hard though.

  • Yeah I know brother, I was talking about Ken Swift and Crazy Legs, not the entire RSC. Ken Swift and Legs with their situation maybe you're aware of, but they are not on speaking terms and haven't been for a long time as far as I've heard.

  • The fairly new RSC member out at 0:47 of the video, he's from my hometown of Hawaii, we went to the same jams and sometimes practiced in the same practice spots, and did group battles for fun. I know RSC has been always there, especially after Buck 4 passed, and Legs got their stuff more organized due to that, but thanks for caring.

  • But I still love both Legs AND Swift, both are my main influences.

  • very nice

  • my god, so good

  • allright,

well, he is poppin on that song verry often.

i see he's doin that in more clips, i want to know the name, but thanx:)

  • damn,

    is that mr. wiggles?

and btw, whats the song of that robotic part?

  • Yep, that's Mr. Wiggles. Not sure of the song. UglyPeople (above) says it might be a song Wiggles produced himself.

  • big props for keeping up the original styles breaking

  • fabulous...rock steady represents....the fathers of breakin'...big respect to RSC

  • Still kicks ass!!!!!

  • Wiggles was dancing to a song I believe he produced himself, not the sure the name though.

New Generation of RSC in this performance, Desmond, Ynot, Bonita, Venum, Servin Ervin and Jeromeskee (who is also in Massive Monkees and member of RSC since 2001). The vets.. Crazy Legs, Mr Wiggles, Sugar Pop and Fever One.

Easy Roc was not in this performance, but he provided the backdrop for us.

This is going down is history as one of the best performances I've been a part of!!!

  • Where was

Prince Ken swift?? I know he's Rocksteady!!But i think he's not happy with the new rocksteady crew!!

  • No it's not that, he got on bad terms with Crazy Legs years ago, because of releasing a Rocksteady 7 Gems video without Crazy Leg's knowledge, and then Legs threatened legal action if Swift did something like that again, thus, the fallout betweem them.

  • thay still got it with a few fresh face's

ken swift was my all time fav and i finnaly got to meet him and see him rock :D

  • Its about time, RS needs a new generation.

  • a beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is crazy legs on this

  • yes he is

  • RSC!!!! some of them are legends and they still on the move and still fresh.

  • awsome and performed with such class,mr wiggles has still got it going on lol!

  • at 41 secs isnt that MASSIVE MONKEES famous move

    ?

  • yess it is jeromski is a member now

  • he's been down with RSC since 04

  • Fever One is like 38 (37 in the clip). Easy Roc (if he was there), is also 38. Suga Pop must be at least 42. Ken Swift would no doubt have featured, if he and Crazy Legs were still on speaking terms, and he is almost 42. Then there's Fabel and Mr. Freeze, who are both about 43, who were also missing.

  • yeah, I remember Legs and Swift had a fallout a long time ago, but do you know what it was about?

  • It goes back to '97, when Ken Swift released the '7 Gems Break Magazine Vol. 2' video. The video featured a tour of Japan, which Ken went on, along with Crazy Legs, Wiggles and Tony Touch. When Crazy Legs found out that Ken had released the footage, without getting his permission, he threatened to take legal action, if he ever did it again. Anyway, Ken was so disgusted at being treated so badly, he left the crew. Although, he still claims R.S.C. along with 7 Gems, when he makes solo appearances.

  • anyone know the song name while wiggles is dancing?

  • R U ready???? ROCK STEADY!!!!!

  • wats the name of the song?

  • Still dope.

  • u gotta be kiddin me! DAMN!

  • i cant believe these guys are alrdy in thir late 30s adn 40s.. but think there were a couple of new additions.. which one was crazy legs? i dont really recognise them anymore

  • well, the majority of the bboys in this video, are the new generation RSC. Jeromeskee, Dez, Venum, etc, all in their 20's.

Wiggles, Crazy Legs, in here, are the guys from the 80's, but most of the guys who busted in here I believe are the younger cats.

  • Crazy Legs is the guy in the white dew rag. He didn't do much in this performance, but he's still the man, since he's inspired thousands of breakers around the world. Including me. =)

  • damn mr wiggles!!! sooo goood

  • That was awesome
