you dont get to see this on ABDC, SYTYCD or whatever show> if you want to show people what original bboying is, this is an excelent video to show them.
yeahhhh man that's my ish! classic breaking from the most legendary crew of all time!
and this footage itself is 3 years old too, so the original members continue to keep getting older and older lol!
actually the originators weren't even crazy legs and them, there were a couple cats who started the whole crew then eventually included legs, freeze, wiggles, baby, etc
go watch 'freshest kidz' the documentary, pure hip-hop history
These guys are legendary and one of the still remaining forerunners of the HipHop dancescene from the 80's. They were a global example for the BBoy scene back then. These guys kinda introduced Break/PopNLock in Europe. In Holland they scored a number 1 hit with Hey You RSC, because HipHop and Breakin was very new back then. Without this crew, and legends like Turbo, OZone, Boogaloo Sam etc. ultimate teams like Jabbawockeez, Quest Crew and others were not there where they are now. RESPECT 4 RSC!
The guys that cptdekker named off were mostly 2nd and possibly 3rd generation RSC. Jo Jo was the founder. Then after that there were people like Ty Fly, Take One, Frosty Freeze, Kippy Dee, Lenny Len,Crazy Legs, and Mr. Freeze. The people in this clip are mostly guys that rep RSC but are in other crews as well. I only recognized Sugar Pop, Mr. Wiggles, and Jeromeskee. I thought maybe Lego was in there, but their solos are all too short to tell.

The best shoes are.. Nike tn cross trainers .. The best but very expense.. Their like jordans old but rare and expense and very hard to find they r still in the high hundred dollor range
You forget about Crazy Legs, who was the founder of Manhattan Rocksteady Crew, which is the group that we all know. Wiggles joined the group a few years later.
right...wiggles was originally mag force...but has been rsc for quite a while now. Suprised nobody said anything about Sugapop out there too...one of the original boogaloos. He's the same age as Wiggles...(Wiggles is electric boogaloo as well though)
@MadMikeBeliso you forgot the very first two rocksteady crew. Jimmy d and jojo. are the founders of rocksteady crew then later on passed it to Crazy legs.
RSC is STILL freSH!!! I remember them back in the day in the 80's...homeboys at my H.S. would clear-out the Quad at lunchtime with their big ol' boomBox, mixers and scratchers and bust out with the killer poppin' breakin' n spinnin' moves!! And it didn't matter WHAT you were..blacks, whites, mexicans and ev' 'thang in between were out there!
Dancing today just ain't dancing...NOT like these bboys in the 80's laid it down!
Hey, those that say super cr3w sucks, are haters also. So u guys got the nerve to tell me i'm hatin', when you guys got mad over a comment that is just an opinion
i didnt know they are still (2007) rocking like this!!! thats style yeah!! RESPECT to maby the most important crew ever... watching modern crews, i sometimes miss "the oldschool" in their way moving. but the new skills of top bboys are incredible and original. keep on breakin, peace..

Only Crazy Legs (wearing the white doo rag) is a member from the 80's. Mr. Wiggles (spotlight solo) became a member years later. I still remember the day my cousin Gilbert and I went to watch Flashdance in Hawaii. That was the first time I saw breakdancing. The next day, Baby Face, a member of The Foot Rock Bunch did some moves for us. He was taught by the Rock Steady Crew, who also taught countless others around the world. So I give RSC credit for making breaking what is it. =)
these guys are not the original they are all to old now lol these guys are the new generation...i was dancing to the original crew when i was about 13..they was the top hip hop crew around back then..
For what? don't feel sorry for him he still doing his thing at his current age. He had his time to do all that and for him to still be bustin' is a influence to us all.
Dam i saw this last year when i started popping, people think im good but my style is like Wiggles here.. i didn't even know that was him till i just re watched it. he is a good inspiration to popping :D

i'm sick to my stomach wit these fake mudafukaz. Ask anybody from Brooklyn old school. Breakdancers cant uprock for shit. Plus Chino Brian and float will burn all these fools. wat they think da truth wasn't gonna come out. Even Duece from dynamic would burn these fools. But Duece and tiny bit there shit from Chino. Then betrayed him and joined Dynamic breakers.
Yeah, that's why they're bboys, and not uprockers, but don't call them "breakdancers" either.
Like I said to you in the other vid, King Uprock one of the still active members of Dynasty Rockers, is down with Ken Swift in Seven gems and Ken Swift has done his efforts to research more in depth about the
old school dances before breakin in New York. So if these old school guys you speak of, are down with Ken Swift of RSC, if King Uprock is willing to judge even bboy events, then you have no right to say anything, because he's a credible part of uprocking, more than you.
If you don't believe me search for King Uprock and Ken Swift with uprocking in the search, and look those vids up.
Hey Firemikey, you remember when Ken Swift and Crazy Legs were on Letterman? There are a couple of clips here of them dancing, but they didn't include the actual interview, which was hilarious. Someday, maybe I'll post it myself, since I've got it on VHS somewhere. =)
The bboy at 0:47 of the clip is Roy AKA skill Roy from the rock steady hawaii chapter. You can see a few of his clips on youtube. Roy is fucking AMAZING, Ive hung out with him a little in hawaii and watched him dance alot. He has a very very clean style. I was lucky to hang out with alot of the RSC hawaii members when we flew to CA for the bboy summit 99, hes pretty old school, and a cool ass guy in general. Far as I know hes been in RSC hawaii since around '97. Bboy Tron, representin since '94
This was in 2007, don't worry they are already back. Thing is, the original crew.. at least what's left from them, is slowly getting to old for this. The new generation Rock Steady is rocking hard though.
Yeah I know brother, I was talking about Ken Swift and Crazy Legs, not the entire RSC. Ken Swift and Legs with their situation maybe you're aware of, but they are not on speaking terms and haven't been for a long time as far as I've heard.
The fairly new RSC member out at 0:47 of the video, he's from my hometown of Hawaii, we went to the same jams and sometimes practiced in the same practice spots, and did group battles for fun. I know RSC has been always there, especially after Buck 4 passed, and Legs got their stuff more organized due to that, but thanks for caring.
Wiggles was dancing to a song I believe he produced himself, not the sure the name though.
New Generation of RSC in this performance, Desmond, Ynot, Bonita, Venum, Servin Ervin and Jeromeskee (who is also in Massive Monkees and member of RSC since 2001). The vets.. Crazy Legs, Mr Wiggles, Sugar Pop and Fever One.
Easy Roc was not in this performance, but he provided the backdrop for us.
This is going down is history as one of the best performances I've been a part of!!!
No it's not that, he got on bad terms with Crazy Legs years ago, because of releasing a Rocksteady 7 Gems video without Crazy Leg's knowledge, and then Legs threatened legal action if Swift did something like that again, thus, the fallout betweem them.
Fever One is like 38 (37 in the clip). Easy Roc (if he was there), is also 38. Suga Pop must be at least 42. Ken Swift would no doubt have featured, if he and Crazy Legs were still on speaking terms, and he is almost 42. Then there's Fabel and Mr. Freeze, who are both about 43, who were also missing.
It goes back to '97, when Ken Swift released the '7 Gems Break Magazine Vol. 2' video. The video featured a tour of Japan, which Ken went on, along with Crazy Legs, Wiggles and Tony Touch. When Crazy Legs found out that Ken had released the footage, without getting his permission, he threatened to take legal action, if he ever did it again. Anyway, Ken was so disgusted at being treated so badly, he left the crew. Although, he still claims R.S.C. along with 7 Gems, when he makes solo appearances.
i cant believe these guys are alrdy in thir late 30s adn 40s.. but think there were a couple of new additions.. which one was crazy legs? i dont really recognise them anymore
Crazy Legs is the guy in the white dew rag. He didn't do much in this performance, but he's still the man, since he's inspired thousands of breakers around the world. Including me. =)
you dont get to see this on ABDC, SYTYCD or whatever show> if you want to show people what original bboying is, this is an excelent video to show them.

Where was

No it's not that, he got on bad terms with Crazy Legs years ago, because of releasing a Rocksteady 7 Gems video without Crazy Leg's knowledge, and then Legs threatened legal action if Swift did something like that again, thus, the fallout betweem them.

Fever One is like 38 (37 in the clip). Easy Roc (if he was there), is also 38. Suga Pop must be at least 42. Ken Swift would no doubt have featured, if he and Crazy Legs were still on speaking terms, and he is almost 42. Then there's Fabel and Mr. Freeze, who are both about 43, who were also missing.

yeah, I remember Legs and Swift had a fallout a long time ago, but do you know what it was about?
Holyfiremikey 3 years ago
It goes back to '97, when Ken Swift released the '7 Gems Break Magazine Vol. 2' video. The video featured a tour of Japan, which Ken went on, along with Crazy Legs, Wiggles and Tony Touch. When Crazy Legs found out that Ken had released the footage, without getting his permission, he threatened to take legal action, if he ever did it again. Anyway, Ken was so disgusted at being treated so badly, he left the crew. Although, he still claims R.S.C. along with 7 Gems, when he makes solo appearances.

i cant believe these guys are alrdy in thir late 30s adn 40s.. but think there were a couple of new additions.. which one was crazy legs? i dont really recognise them anymore
puterigunungl 4 years ago
well, the majority of the bboys in this video, are the new generation RSC. Jeromeskee, Dez, Venum, etc, all in their 20's.
Wiggles, Crazy Legs, in here, are the guys from the 80's, but most of the guys who busted in here I believe are the younger cats.

Crazy Legs is the guy in the white dew rag. He didn't do much in this performance, but he's still the man, since he's inspired thousands of breakers around the world. Including me. =)
