If these ever replace regular dirt bikes i will cry. The noise, smell and feel of petrol bikes is what gives them their sense of power and is all part of the experience, it'll be tragic if they're ever superseded by these buzzing shit sticks

now i understand that everyone,well not everyone, but most people dont like the new electric bikes. but i think that these are the future of motocross. i have a rmz 250 and i love it, the sound,smell just everything. all in all though electrics will soon surpass gas just like with cars and rc's. should be really interesting as to what happens.

@YZtwostrokin You're right. I can't ride an 85 to its potential because I am 6' 5" 260 and look like a gorilla on a tricycle. Also, Ive seen very few people, if any, ride a 450 to its potential but I can get enough out of my WR400F and the CR250 I used to have to get around and through tight single track and hill climbs. All I'm trying to say is these things cannot contend with a 2 stroke or 4 stroke mx bike in the woods or mx track, even you can understand that, cant you?

people, they're called combustion sound simulators. a tiny lightweight electronic device hooked to speakers that makes for even more fun customizing/adjusting the sound of the vehicle. it's not new, they developed them a long time ago for electric cars to not hit def people. now stop crying about your dumb engine noises, get an electric dirt bike, and hook one to it.

i was at the mx track tonight and there was a bike you could try out and i rode it .. it was the 10,000 dollar model but i do have to say its pretty awsome but it kept breaking on people 3 blown fuses in 1 hour... idk if i would pay 10,000 for one even if i had the money

@brettman123 a combustion sound simulator is already developed. it's used for all types of electric vehicles and can be even more fun to customize/adjust than being stuck with one engine sound.

We've got a couple of ZEROs and they are extremely sweet. Every trail has it's ideal tool...and these are really good machines for lots of different terrain where you simply cannot take a 2 or 4 stroke. GoPro uses our ZEROs for testing our cameras all the time thanks to their convenience and environmentally chill nature. Just our experience...these things are the cat's ass (meaning really sweet).
