@FlyingLEGObricks just select the comp and hit command (on a mac) or ctr(on a PC) + M. Or go into the menus and co comp>make movie. Then just hit "render" in the render queue when you're happy with the settings. The defaults make a large file with no audio output put flawless video just FYI.

@FlyingLEGObricks No worries. Not much has changed from cs4 so you should be good to make awesome stuff for a long time yet before you need up upgrade. Let me know if you get stuck on anything :)

My example of this issue is. 0-10 seconds of my clip was invisible until the transition which was set to occur at 10-12 seconds. By saying this I mean that the transition showed my clip which was set from 0-12 seconds but only the transition. So lets say I was viewing from 0-10, there was nothing but when it hit 10 seconds the end of my clip transitioned into the next clip, but I couldnt see the whole of that first 10 seconds... Any clue? Note I deleted this tranisition but will be re-doing it

I love your tutorials and they are REALLY good. I wont lie, I am new to adobe after effects and am using CS5.5 and probably will make mistakes, :P. So, I completed this tutorial to the stage where it should of worked. I believe the issue was in the track matte option. It didn't effect the layers. Once I got so annoyed with adobe I decided to save and quit. After doing so I reloaded it and this time... It worked but my whole clip was invisible until the transition.

@Glitcheress Doesn't work how? Does the "Luma Matte" and "Luma Matte Inverted" track matte option not affect the layers or do you not have the track matte option available? Let me know and I'll do what I can to get you though it.

I am using AE4 I think and there is no track matte, atleast it is not showing. Is there any other way to apply it?

@MrMuffinLord should be down there on the layer, if you can't see it you may have to hit the "toggle modes" button down there? It's been a part of after effects since version 1 I think though. They might call it something different but it should be down there on the layer next to the parenting, pick whip, and the check boxes no?
