Enjoying my holidays in Canada,went to pick cherries around Hamilton,then drove to the Niagara Falls ; p

I picked about 2 lb's of cherries from my great grandmas today. I guess I did alot of damage cause the way i got the cherries wasn't even close to this. The cherries were so ripe and soft that when I grabbed the fruit it slid off of the seed (once again, i didnt know how i was supposed to pick them lol). even with half a gallon baggy's worth picked , you couldnt even tell I had been there because there were so many cherries. I put em in some amish bread with walnuts, and juiced the rest :D

Not for us - we are only about 25% of the way through our crop, so while we have had some damage through rain most of the crop is absolutely fine at this early stage of the harvest. Summit cherries are absolutely beautiful at the moment!
