  • I know of a good one in York County, PA going cheap. Send me a private message for the details.

  • Least she is not beating on it like most kids do... She is a natural.. :) I started playing at age 3.

  • did you already sell this?

  • Hey, that's the same bench I just got with my S-6. I wasn't sure it was the original because of the wood color difference but now I see that it is. Thanks for the video info!

Safety Note: If the organ still has an open back please make sure it stays against the wall. If the kids or pets touch the wrong thing back there (even if it isn't plugged in) it could be crispy critters time.

    Peace,

    Brother Ron

  • Sorry, the user is klains3

  • To watch some videos from Los Masters, you must locate the user "klins3". Select

"los master de maracaibo - margarita". Solist is the founder Gilberto García. As you can see, the organ is an old S4 or S6. Another example is "Mario y sus Diamantes - El Cable" by italo-venezuelan organist Mario Carniello who passed away several years ago. There aren't videos of him and his group "Los diamantes".

  • I just hope she doesn't break any of the chord buttons.

  • Dangit, she plays better than me...

  • You can make a better demo of this antique organ, hehehe. In one video demo, just push the switches while you touch the keyboard and push the left buttons for chords in another video demo.

You'll be surprised to know that a musical group in Venezuela uses this same organ, manufactured more of 45 years ago!!!.

  • And that Venezuelan group would be........

  • Hi Paul: the venezuelan group is "Los Masters" from Maracaibo (city at west of Venezuela). The style is latin danceable and is called "raspacanilla"...The organist is Gilberto García, who founded this organ band 50 years ago...but I HATE this style!!!. In Marcaibo still there are some organ groups that use the old Hammond Chord Organ. Who can service this old organs???

  • Thanks. I bought my Hammond chord organ in Jax, Fl. sevral years ago and their servicman had gone over it. You can try searching for organ repair and tunning online and the yellow pages, if not that than I know a guy in Savannah I belive still works on these instruments.

  • No Paul, I live in Venezuela and I don't have any keyboards. An organist said to me that in that city (Maracaibo) there is a techinician who knows to repairs that old instruments. I'd suggest the use of modern samplers (Korg, Akai, etc.) with sampled sounds of that organs. Another EXPENSIVE option is the use of modern Hammond-Suzuki keyboards. They're one-keyboard instruments like Hammond's S-Models.
