I did this with my witty Hawke (rivalry) as a test, but I felt bad and reloaded. I didn't know he'd come back for some shagging later or I would have held it over his head haha. I wonder how you are guaranteed to get him to come back? I'm gonna try that today :D My witty Hawke drove him nuts with her joking and constantly pissed him off by defending mages. My nice mage he seems to get along with well, and he seems to smile a lot more.

I've always been so unsure if I should go rivalry or friendship on Fenris' ass.

The friendmance is so fluffy, and the rivalmance is just so... *steam*

@LeeDeeMee Even friendmance is not as fluffy with Fenris. He is pretty much angry either way. I've done rivarly and it's alright if you like him yelling at you all the time. And he won't even look at you while you're making out the first time! You wanna try fluffy, try a friendmance Anders = snore. On my second playthrough now I constantly piss off Anders (he told me he felt like ripping off my head) and make nice with Fenris and the change is refreshing.

@XelestialDragon I think it's a glitch when Fenris looks away when you kiss him in the rivalry romance.

Also, I can't make myself romance Anders after doing one playthrough. He's literally stalking you the entire time, hating that you choose either Fenris, Merrill or Isabela.

But I still think Fenris friendship romance is sweet, while with the rivalry, it's more like, "I hate that you disagree with me, but I still wanna tap 'dat ass."

...

No idea what my point is.

@LeeDeeMee Haha, that's alright. I'm at the beginning of Act 2 now, so I'm making separate saves so I can sleep with Fenris, then go to Anders and end the story with him (just to see how it plays out) and a separate save so I can end it with Fenris...again. I can't help it! Anders gets on my nerves sometimes and Fenris is so sexy!

@LeeDeeMee And so far, I think I like friendmance best with Fenris. Probably because he's one of those "I'm all hurting inside" characters and I like the fact I don't cause him anymore grief. Plus after being with you as a friend, he says "I just wanted to be happy for a little while." It's very sweet and he doesn't do that as a rival.

I think I preferred the dialogue in the friendship. Haha when he came backk after this conversation I just remember him coming in and saying "Tell me to leave," and two seconds later Hawke was against the wall. She never grabbed his arm, he just grabbed her...and she was a mage. ^_^ made my day.

However, I do congratulate you on standing for the aggressive approach. ;)

@nquam7 Yeaaaaah, noticed that too. I think that's because this scene is remarkably unchanged between friendship and rivalry...all that's different is the dialog. His neutral face looks passable for the stuff he's saying on the friendship pass. So the animators just got lazy and gave him bland expressions for both? Seems a crime either way considering how expressive he is normally.

@zeowynda312 Shit...now its starting to sound like they got lazy with the whole game, i mean look at Anders; even in rivalry he still strolls right into your room and declares his love...its almost a joke. i was like "that's it? no rants about the mistreatment of mages or a few angry words about hating me but still wanting me...everyone knows hate sex is the best...a suppose he forgot his balls in the clinic.

@Nehelenya: Thats because people don't know how to create a face to the standards of beauty in our society. All my girls and boys are drop dead gorgeous. My advice is to start with one of the customizable faces that is already good looking and then just modify.
