I always thought it was weird how there was a crate 0:14 out in the middle of the desert. How did it get there? And why is it still there as adult link? Is there some sort of easter egg involved with it?
Do you know what I did? I taped a piece of paper to the TV screen on the part with the map. Then I went to Gerudo Valley as an adult. I went through the Haunted Wasteland and traced my path on the piece of paper, using the arrow that represents Link to find the path I took. And then, I went back to being a kid, and went along the path I drew, and once I followed it exactly, I got to Gerudo Fortress! This is definitely the easiest way to get there as a kid!
it's too bad though. I woke up one day and I wanted to play the game, so I went up to my three draws (I have three consoles in draws) and the analog stick was broken off. I'm getting two sealed controllers off of ebay, but it will be a while since then. :(
The N64 analog sticks get broken so easily XP. Mine are worn out from constant usage in Mario Party 1. And once they get worn out they're a major pain to use. They should have made better ones like on the gamecube :P.
Yup -- the problem is they used a lubricant that's water-based and dries out. That white powder you always get at the bottom of the stick? That's the dried lubricant, after which your control stick grinds away.
Should've used a grease-based lube... but something about being non-toxic and kids... blah blah blah xD
@MajorasMask9 there are good ones, they first created the gamecube stick for N64 but they come to late, but theres still those controles on Ebay ther are called Hori Mini
good luck, nice job, its good to see ppl still play kick ass games, i personally ditched my N64, but got the gamecube collecters edition zelda thing w/ majora's mask and ocarina of time...so...eff yea! lol...
I did it right thank you so much and has it does work on the 3DS it's just a bit easier because the 3DS version have darkened spots in the deep areas

actually, I think I'll try that. It's still possible to do without AR. I'm gonna try the mega backflip when I get in the desert.

You can also get past the quicksand at the end by doing a well-angled backward walk across it. Didn't get to record that though.
