Wow. What an idiot. He's got this exactly backwards.

I guess from his point of view, when you are in debt the best thing you can do is run to the bank and ask for more money "to pay it back later" with bigger interest. To bad it doesn't work this way. If you are in debt the first thing you can do is make a plan to get out of it, and the second is to cut your spending!
