  • I rarely use a tripod. And I leave the F stop at 11. I only change/experiment with different light settings and an under exposure of about -.5 to -1.0. If the picture comes out too dark, then I will adjust the F-stop lower.

  • Raise the iso and use larger aperture? Uh, I don't think so. C'mon, you can buy a low end tripod for a few bucks. If $ is that tight tie 3 sticks together. But use a tripod!

  • Use a tripod! Why would you use a small aperture for capturing landscape?

  • @e13373

To get extended depth of field (big f number means small aperture)

  • Do not increase ISO! unless you have to...use a tripod, your pictures will be infinitely better.

  • @guglio1290 too bad you have no idea what you just said, Its called the RULE of thirds. You should get to know it.

  • Thanks, this is great!!

  • I disagree with you about the Horizon.

Horizon goes where it belongs, it's the sunset that matters.

  • @guglio1290

you should know about the rule of thirds. it's not portrait and even portrait do have rule of thirds. center is dead, you are not taking a photo for passport or for ID etc..

  • @6527mjap clearly your potential creativity is blocked by "theory".
