Like any news story, if the video weren't edited down to the most interesting parts, it wouldn't get views. Every news organization and documentary maker does this. The full audio tape (186MB) is 2 hours long. I checked it & found the sections excerpted above. Nothing was changed by "context," e.g. in the OWS section there was lead-in about Tunisia - which changed nothing.
Like other O'keefe material -- there is no 'context' that could make the things these people say mean something else.

who is james o'keefe and why should we care about project veritas? if james is an aspiring journalist, he has much to learn about the truth himself, and transparency in the process of gathering news. too many inaccuracies and contextual shortfalls to make this effort very valuable or interesting.

I assume you are at least a little proficient on how to research who James O'Keefe is & what Project Veritas is. Once you gain a little understanding of it, U might answer the question yourself-- one way or the other. Here's a very obvious hint about O"keefe's attention to detail here. While going after two NYU journalism professors, the set up shots he uses have nothing to do with the NYU journalism program, but are pictures of the outside of the Journalism School at Columbia University. Never mind that these institutions have no connection to each other whatsoever. Very very sloppy Mr. O'Keefe.

I guess the point of showing the bias behind the NYTimes is that you can't trust them to be honest. Without which all their scribbling is no different than a transcript of Ed Schultz's MSNBC show. Of course the treatment of Marco Rubio by the Washington Post is the most current example of dishonest, biased reporting.
