  • The Hammond solo makes that song. Without it, this song is nothing. I have not heard many keyboard players that can duplicate the solo note by note. There is only one in Miami Florida that is able to play it as it was written. His name is Rey F and he used to play in a band called Living End.

  • how did you hit those high notes?

  • Richard Fallon and Steven Bennack get a day job lol

  • I wish I`d written ten more like that. Thanks for playing it. Any band that re-records that track could have another #1 record with it. Did you know that Paul McCartney is now the publisher of Green Eyed Lady?

  • Those high notes are a killer. I know I co-wrote the song!

  • @kungsurf !

Man... thanks for writing that song, it is one killer song. And TFW!

Upload some old live footage! PLEASE! (c'mon, everyone, help me out here!)

(or perhaps you weren't in the band?)

  • @kungsurf what so your Jerry Corbetta or what get outta here also this cover band is terrible. THe singing and the keyboard solo were butchered

  • and i seriously mean that in a positive way

  • I'm not saying you guys are old or anything, but the people in my band are like 13-15 and you guys have more spunk then they do!

  • Not mine lol. Haha you should get some new members then. We just have a good time on stage

  • one of the better covers of this song on the internet great job!

  • nice job guys

  • Great job! One of my favorites to play.

  • Hey, thanks, SaltP... we do love it too. You gots band, etc? Give us a link!

  • hell yea, such a good song/rendition.

  • That was EXCELLENT! You guys ROCK!! Nice job

  • i like it

  • Check out an awesome cover of this song (search using DEJA BLU, GREEN EYED LADY). The lead singer/keyboard player is totally amazing!

  • Hey, thanks for the tip, those guys are good! Sounds like they rehearse more often than every four months (like us!).

  • HAHA its a bunch of old guyz trying to be cool lol

  • Too bad you can't find a full video with the original song in it. I've always liked it, even from when I was a kid. :) One of my oldies fixes I guess.

  • It's posted now, although no band footage.

  • Yeah I found the video with the full song in it not long after I posted that comment. LOL

  • Thnx for posting, nice cover,I know it sounded a lot better (Soundwise) being there, overall great job thnx again,I uploaded the Pat Travers version Audio-Track if anybody cares to check it out!

  • the timing is off on some parts overall it sounds kinda sloppy

  • Yep... you called it. How's your dad-band sound?

  • actually a two-hit wonder, band= sugarloaf

  • Yes, 'Don't Call Us' was a hit too. :)

  • yeah, but the dipshit that posted this has no clue

  • Self-referential comments are always welcome!

  • As I've said before, the leslie switch is on the volume pedal... he's doing something other than what you think he is. Thanks for watching!

  • Ah, a two-fisted organist - one to make uncoordinated screechy noises with, and one to work the Leslie switch. Corbetta would hurl. That Hammond would be better served if used in a fireplace. Keep your day jobs, posers.

  • You have a lot of balls rippin on someone else's shit when you don't have anything out there yourself... you claim to be a jazz musician, well put up or shut up.... if you can't be constructive why don't you keep your mouth shut...

  • chicks dancing ... together ...yeah ....

Steve you missed a chord change there ...

  • Well, I can't argue there... happens often enough!
