Amazingly dissappointing. Sorry to sound grumpy, but I was expecting something a little less... how do I say... "mainstream"? I duno, but the impression I got from the advert was that there would be a lot more of the original Fame 'feel' to it.

PS: Yes, this is based on an older series. I bet 5-10% of people who are 'hyped' about this movie know about it. The music in the series is much better than this, imo.
