@nish3690 A tethered jailbreak means you cannot boot (turn on the ipod) without connecting it to a computer. Untethered means the ipod jailbreak is independent of computer, and it can boot all by its lonesome self.

This jailbreak killed my iPod. Now I can only go on safari for like 20 seconds until it kicks me out. Fuck redsn0w. Even the jailbreak sucked too. Every time I tried downloading something from cydia it would kick me out. My Igun pro wouldn't work either after all the times I tried reinstalling the jailbreak. I said to hell with that and upgraded to ios 5 and it still crashed....

this is strange the jailbreak is tethered^^^...i had a ipod touch like 2 years ago and used blackra1n on it MC model ("tethered") and when i turned it off and turned it back on it would go to the recovery screen until i ran blackra1n over it again..with this JB^^^ it boots up fine...and everything seems to work fine is it really tethered?
