you should germinate it before you put it into the soil. If you do that, you will see a seedling in a couple of days.

@JakemakesYTP You hould put the seeds in a wet paper towel and put them in a drawer or under your bed or some other place that is pitch black and after 3 or 4 days the seeds will sprout a root.

That is when its time to plant them into a pot with soil. I'd say about a week after you will notice it has srpouted 2 leaves.

At least that's how it was for me. I have about 25 plants @ about 1 1/2 weeks old.

The purple stems are from Some decent bag weed (Sativa) the green stems are from an amazing batch (not exactly sure what strain) but he seeded a few buds for me. It reacts better to cooler climate. So are indicas better in cooler climates? If I take care of the sativas groom, nutes tlc....is it worth growing? also how warm can they handle? Im on the gulf coast, gets HOT AS FUCK here.

I have noticed (in the past) some seedlings come up with purple stems, and some green. When they are mostly INDICA they tend to come up green. Sativa- purp. Am i totally off base here?

The purple STEM(not Bud) is a reaction or strain that is supposed to be grown in hot weather,a green stem means it is for colder weather, most Hawaiian strains have both a striped purple and green stem because the weather changes so much in Hawaii, a very good way to tell if its an actual Hawaiian strain. hope this was rather helpful

female plants grow buds (there the ones you want) and a male grows pollen, if you have male and female together the male will get pollen to the female and you will get lots of seeds insted of good buds.

A Male plant is no good all they will produce is seeds this is why you do not want them by female plants becuz cross pollination. Females is what has the THC that you want. The only way you can tell the difference between the two is when the plant is going into its flowering stage between 6-10 weeks old .Males will produce sacks on the joints of the stems . Females will have "pistils" on the joints of the leaves looks like white hairs.

a good way to flower early is...... keep growing intul it enters the 5 leaf stage, get dirt then have it up to the smooth oval leaves when it first sprouts. then wait a week put it on 12/12 cycle.

even though i give the exact amount i should and even check the tempreture and humidity for some reason all my stuff always dies (and i do use "seedling soil") when i grow most plants the problem is especially with weed that my seedlings grow very high and dont produce the second set of leaves for a long time and then start drooping even if i put a suport next to it it will droop so much until it actually falls apart

what kind of lights? how often are you watering? (cannabis is similar to a cactus in that you water it, wait for the soil to dry out, then re water.. never water if the top soil still has moisture because it will kill or cause your leaves to droop.) there are a lot of factors.
