  • Nice bike, After all your hard work on it, it showed you had that mule eating ice grin and that's a good thing, I have a 84 Interstate and when I get ready for a ride my wife tell me I have that stupid grin on my face too, so have fun and treat her ride and be safe, (it 's all about your next ride)

  • Congrats rexx - I'll try to shoot some more video to give you a closer look at the floorboard set up and other things. It's been running great, 2 new tires helped out. Going to overhaul it this winter. New Brakes, lights, stereo, full paint job. The goal is to do as much of the work myself and keep it as cheap as possible. Stay Tuned! Ride Safe! - K6 CAM...

  • Just bought my first Goldwing (a 1986 Interstate) today, and it doesn't need much wrenching...but I didn't buy it at yard sale for $100...what an adventure for you for $100!! Looks good going down the road. Did you put the highway floorboards on it? I have to put a pair on my bike and was looking at how yours were mounted. Thanks for the video. Ride safe.

  • This is a wonderful video of a Goldwing ride, but the 2 things which shocked me were 1) no helmet while riding 2) No protective gear whatsoever, the minimum is a decent mesh or leather jacket with armor and padded gloves. God forbid you have a fall on the Goldwing, you will most likely have severe skin peel, possible broken bones and even death (scary, ain't it ?). Why take the risk even for a short ride. Ride safely and safe yourself a heap of trouble, it really is not worth the risk !

  • @nevillerosario - Woah! Sorry to scare you buddy. I should have captioned some major background info on this wing. I spent two months, cleaning the carbs, wrenching wrenching wrenching, and finally got the thing to start. I bought it at a yard sale for $100. I agree, not wearing the helmet was not smart, but it was only around the block, just a test ride. I go to Arizona and I see 75% of riders with no helmet on. I've since got my M1 license and I always wear protective clothing...

  • @nevillerosario So I'll try to make another video soon, to ease your concerns. I do appreciate it though! Stay tuned and I'll give you some updates. I've still been working away on this thing and I love it. Ride On!

  • Very Nice 86 K6, Enjoy it! Be careful, get some boots. My wing tipped over one day and crushed my toe. Ride Safe!

  • @magnawingrider I just bought an '86 Wing and wonder how I am going to pick it up if (when?) it tips over! I've been shown how to do it, but am not looking forward to trying out the technique!
