@WP7User Yeah like.... once per 4 year....I've never get a virus on my mac.I had my imac g5 for 6 years and i never had any problems with it.and believe me i used internet a lot.

@vajksziget7a It depends on how you use the internet. I'm a happy user of a pc and I hardly ever get viruses, maybe at most once every couple of years. If you consistently use trusted websites and don't do anything dodgy your unlikely to get a virus. However if you torrent and the such your more likely. Just because your running a mac does not mean your immune and using the internet a lot doesn't mean anything. No-one would get viruses if everyone was educated and careful.

Windows never freezes in my experience. The last time Windows froze on me was back in the days of 16-bit like Win 3.1 or Win95/98.

Macs are overpriced boxes of nothingness with few apps to choose from that can't run many games. Mac OS changes every year at a great cost to their users. Windows service packs are free.

Mac-users suffer from the "overpriced, therefore must be great" syndrome.

True that a Mac is a good computer no doubt, but its totally NOT WORTH paying twice the price of a normal PC for it.

And the only reason they do that is not due to technology or anything...only because the "elite" onwers feel good abt themselves coz they bought an expensive computer.

Sorta like overpriced designer clothes...its not really worth it, but you feel great because of the label on it.

Gimp Sucks, it's a pain in the ass to use. The same for OpenOffice. Everytime you select something the tool bar height changes and therefore the main view shifts annoyingly. Most functions are not where you would expect them to be. Is bloated. Keynote rocks. Everything is obvious.

They always go back to the "virus" and "freezing" arguments, because that's the ONLY thing they can fall back on now. I can buy a $800 Core i7 PC, with a high level graphics card along with it, and it would outperform a $2000 Mac beyond tenfold. And they act like anti-virus software is a hassle to use. Jeeze...its like as if Mac users are so lazy they cant even click a few extra buttons to start a scan, because its "too much work" to install anti virus programs.

Whats the point of buying Virus soft ware. Get a mac. And i did a test after 1 month. I got 1,400 cookies and little harmful viruses on my Pc side of my mac. Just get a mac not a pc.

Hi, I'm a Linux based PC, no viruses here, and I am more secure than a mac thanks to a large number of developers in the open source community! And I am easier to set up and use than a mac thanks to the fact that I am WUBI installed inside of Windows. That also means I can play games! No photoshop for me, I save hundreds of dollars by using GIMP instead! Not to mention my OS updates are free! No paying $130 for updates that should be a service pack like on a mac. What was mac saying again?
