I agree....however death by hawk is actually much more painful and excruciating, so I would rather use 8mm or like round to immediately put them to sleep nearly 100x faster. So you can't say nature is less cruel than a gun....quite the opposite.

No, consulting the Sibley does confirm that this is a Golden Eagle. It screams eagle to any experienced bird-watcher. It's a juvenile though, hence the white bar on the tail and small white patches on the wings. I'm not sure that you can't train an eagle to do something as natural to it as attack a deer. If this eagle was raised in captivity, it probably could be trained to do so.
