  • I feel Kanye did a better job. I love his visual interpretation. He does the same with sampling music.

  • Everything Kanye does is a rip off so I'm not at the least surprised.

  • It's not a surprise. You see a lot of contemporary artists jack previous artists' songs nowadays to make their songs sound good. I'm all for sampling, but when people don't give credit where it's due and try to pawn it off as their own artistic creativity, THEN I have a problem.

  • sampling is an art i love sampled music everybody does it people need to give creit to the samps artist tho. some genius said something like is picasso not an artist because he didnt make the paint

  • Enter the Void is a mind blowing epic thrill ride that opens the mind to a higher consciousness, at least it was for me.

  • Kinko West. He's the black Lady Gaga.

  • cuntye west

  • fucking kanye unoriginal cunt

  • also might i add, there are Japanese characters in the Kanye video that makes no sense to be placed there, other than to look cool. The Japanese characters are in the title sequence of Enter the Void because the film production was there.

  • Rips off? Please more like homage or repetition. Also realize it isn't the musician alone responsible for the music video, there are editors, directors etc. involved in the process, and they may be the ones "ripping it off". Another point is that if anything it may just raise awareness about the film. Though most who would hear about it from Kanye's video would probably not appreciate the film, still there shouldn't be the assumption that no one would. So fuck off you hipsters.

  • @larsporsena38 one of 2 things happened. 1. Kanye asked Hype how he came up with that title sequence and Hype lied to him saying it is from his own creative mind. 2. Kanye asked and Hype told him he saw Enter the Void and ripped it off. I am guessing #1 and to be complacent with it is the same as Kanye himself ripping it off.

  • @trentmorrison i meant "im guessing #2"

  • @larsporsena38 And the point of raising "awareness" of the film is a not a fair excuse to use to rip off someone's creativity. I was well aware of this film and a big Gasper Noe fan, would see his movies in art house theaters 2 times...one night, changing channels, i came across MTV during night time when they play "music" videos, and i gasped and was shocked at the blatant rip off of this film. Every hit Kanye has, is based on some older song, so its not a stretch to say he ripped this too

  • @trentmorrison It's fine that you fell offended. But on another note, I doubt every hit Kanye has is a rip off of an older song. Furthermore if he takes bits and pieces from other places fine, because its still entertaining. Also I don't think the use of Gaspar's credit sequence depreciates the work, otherwise there isn't much harm done.

  • @larsporsena38 He's still pawning off an idea that wasn't his, labeling it as his own, and trying to reap the acclaim from it without giving proper credit.

  • "kanye west rip off Enter the Void credits and trailer"

Surely the blame lies with Hype if anything?

Kanye is renound for his reluctance to admit he samples of course... Oh wait, nop he isn't!

  • One day he will fall into a blender!

  • I was so pissed when I saw this video on MTV

  • Wow... and I thought sampling King Crimson was bad, this is just terrible

  • Thieving little fucker. When will he realise he's terrible?
