what sucks with the shield is that you can't tag with the back button while using the shield, what I did a lot in the first one.

I figure it is to make it harder to use the shield, which it surely did!

@foxvthor - no. The riot shield sucks in rainbow 2. You just get killed about a second and a half slower with the shield.... The first rainbow six vegas made you impervious to gunfire with the riot shield, but part 2 they fucked up and made you still able to take damage while using the riot shield... don't bother using it in rainbow six vegas 2. You take damage slower but you move extra slow so you can't get away either...

@Buzitch when I recorded the video I was using an older style tube television, and you are seeing the refresh rate of the tv because it's picked up when you video tape a TV with a particular refresh rate with another camera.

another great way for cqb is on vegas junkyard. go on terrorist hunt then realistic with yer 2 fags yung and mike and when you start the map go down the ladder to your right. set the 2 guys by the stairs and go all the way thru the tunnel to the other stairway and with your pistol right behind the ladder kill everyone who comes down. really simple.

i got all the way to lvl100 assault and lvl100 cqb from a days worth of gamplay scince its sping break! thx also again i did it for a day straight went from recruit to elite thats right 1st lvl to last because the 5k xp every lvl up after 20

Another way to get CQB points with little effort (although it takes abit longer). On "negotiations" get to the point when you kill the first bad guy (the one that looks out the window). Shoot him, then reload checkpoint, then shoot him again, then keep doing this and you get CQB points and XP. I ranked up 10+ today when I did it. :) Nice vid too , ill try it

u can get marksman points too if you set off the smoke, get on the rappel behind you, and shoot them as they run by. u cant turn so you are facing where they stand and wait though, so u have to be fast and shoot them quickly. i would recommend the g18, deagle, or raging bull for this.

if u go to kill house on casual diffuculty with lone wolf no go up the stairs to the first wall and hug the wall. soon people will start pooring down the rappel keep on shooting them. do not do blind shots tho.

no you don't have to use C4 first. You can kill everyone with a shotgun or rifle (whichever you choose) every time to lvl up CQB, or just use C4 each time to lvl Assault. I did C4 once and Shotty once in this vid just to demonstrate how each is done. You can use either tactic you with both times or do one of each like I did. =)

Do you have to have X-box live avaliable or just have to set-up a Live match regardless?

I believe you do need an xbox live account to do this. You can do this on single player but you will only have like 2 guys to kill when they come out of the house. So that is why I tell you to use the xbox live set up because you will get about 17 kills. I don't know if it will let you set up an xbox live match if you don't have an account.
