i love sleepaway camp 2, and i really like part 1.. but i really disliked this one. i found it extremely annoying (the character alon) and it didnt really feel like a slasher, more like torture porn.. i dunno maybe i caught it on a bad day or something :/
i would tell any horror fan to check it out esp. if your a fan of the Sleepaway Camp series ya know? its very low budget and campy! it reminds me alot of 1 but much more campy which in my eyes theres nothing wrong with that. ya know?

Thanks for the review. I just ordered RTSC. I own the red cross box set also and have always loved that slasher series. The killings in those films were always very unique. The ending of the original SAC film gave me nightmares LOL but anyway.. I agree with your comment below, they are fun slasher films.
That is what I liked about the SAC series. they had very unique death scenes. the first one was great but then they all kind of went down hill. I still like the series though.
I can't believe that someone actually liked this movie. Sleepaway Camp 1 & esp. 2 were good. And yes, this movie was cheesy in a bad way. Some of the acting was laugh-out-loud horrible, i.e. the scene in which Karen "faints." That little fat kid totally over-acted. That guy that plays Ronnie was horrible.
How could he possibly think that Petie was Angela? There is only about a 20 year age difference.
Im probably the odd ball when it comes to the sleepaway camp series. Id say my favorites go in this order 2,3,4,then 1. The first movie always seemed way too cheesey to me for some reason. Great story line but bad death scenes. But a classic!!!
I have to see this film. I love the first film, and the 2 and 3 are cool little efforts in their own right. I've got the boxset with part 4, or whats left of it. It looks pretty turgid, so its maybe a blessing it was never finished lol.
i too have that boxset and im so thinkful that forth so called film was never finished.. return to sleepaway camp was so much better then that think god :)

I liked return as well. A lot of people hated it. Wasn't better then parts 2 or 3 but good otherwise.
