It should be fair where a Tuner can beat an Exotic, by tuning your tuner and making it more realistic instead of the Exotic overlapping the car 3 lap. Or the tuner going 230mph. It should be a straight up race.

I think they finally smartned up and got with the simulation program. I am glad this is all real world track racing instead of silly street racing. I havent played the game yet but hopefully it rivals GT5.
First off, GRID is not a racing sim. That was more like PGR.
2nd, I have high hopes for this game. I'm actually looking for it to be stiff competition with FM3 and GT5. Prostreet was a good try to bring NFS into the sim-racing genre, but Shift looks to be its staple.
And in truth, I'm more excited about this racing game than GT5 AND FM3. Both of those games have gone bland.
But this is what a racing game should be. Instead of taking a stock car and beefing it up until its not road legal but not a race car, take a stock car and turn it into a race car. Not some charged-up knock off wannabe racer.

GTR2 team concentrated their efforts exactly where it counts - on the driving itself.
Need for Speed shift has EXCELLENT GRAPHICS but VERY LOW driving quality (POOR SIMULATION).
That's why GTR2 is 10 times better in my opinion.
Note: I have both GTR2 & Need for Speed Shift.

It should be fair where a Tuner can beat an Exotic, by tuning your tuner and making it more realistic instead of the Exotic overlapping the car 3 lap. Or the tuner going 230mph. It should be a straight up race.

i dont know why they dont give me shot at game testing shift, am the one that was 2 video so much lag pre-patch undercover befor and after they did pertty good one on the first patch for lag (pc for life) i hope they give me test of the game, but so so hope give me beta test of WORLD online i do like open world the best i like hit the cops (in game only) and playing online great to THANK YOU NFS PPL

I think they finally smartned up and got with the simulation program. I am glad this is all real world track racing instead of silly street racing. I havent played the game yet but hopefully it rivals GT5.

First off, GRID is not a racing sim. That was more like PGR.
2nd, I have high hopes for this game. I'm actually looking for it to be stiff competition with FM3 and GT5. Prostreet was a good try to bring NFS into the sim-racing genre, but Shift looks to be its staple.
And in truth, I'm more excited about this racing game than GT5 AND FM3. Both of those games have gone bland.

But this is what a racing game should be. Instead of taking a stock car and beefing it up until its not road legal but not a race car, take a stock car and turn it into a race car. Not some charged-up knock off wannabe racer.

This game's graphics kill GT5..
Reason why GT5 runs at 60fps..is because there are hardly any effects going on..
NFS Shift has tons.. and looks gorgeous!
