Yes the horses are thin. You can tell they don't get much to eat, but then, I don't think the people do either.

i dont remember the company just sit on the beach and one of the guys will come up to you and ask you if you wanna do stuff... lol they will wether you want them to or not

I went horseback riding on the same beach in Punta Cana just last week.

It's really too bad that you didn't enjoy it.

I agree with the long pants and shoes....but, I have to say that I loved it!

I am not an experienced rider but galloping on the beach at sunset was a wonderful experience!

The only downfall for me was that the horses looked a little thin.....

We are going to Punta at the end of March - what company did you use for horse back riding? I would love to try it ... and at sunset sounds like fun - I will wear pants though lol! Anything else that you recommend in Punta?
