  • Mozart Wrote at least one variation of this very popular song. since it's mozarts interpretation, he is given the credit. He wrote variations of other songs as well.

    peace and love

  • the top comments were the funniest shit i ever read, i had to masterbate to stop from laughing

  • I agree with the guy who posted the video. All rights reserved to the artist. It is good to mention it. Nobody does, but someone someday should. Like this guy! (The donnation is still available) Lol.

  • why is it so common that people think mozart wrote this song?

  • my fav. christmas song

  • yeah seriously why does it say Mozart? It's by King Henry VIII

  • @Swannyboii96 many people have re-written the song... nice. lol

  • This is my favourite version on youtube :)

  • This isn't composed by Mozart. Someone from England did. Also named Anonymous.

  • @AzafreakSM Henry the 8th wrote it...

  • @Swannyboii96 That is only a legend.

  • Mozart???

  • isn't this music to a certain christmas song? or christian music song of some sort???

  • @breybrey2dajizzay yes it is the same music as what child is this.

  • @MusicalHowl It's easy considering a first year like me has almost mastered it in the weekend

  • @giorgosntoulos2 yeah its a way easy song. :P

  • @MusicalHowl I said almost don;t be too frivolous.

  • @giorgosntoulos2 depends on ur skill level.. its easy for me. :/

  • fell so sad :(

  • I do believe however that Mozart did in fact create the guitar piece as heard in the video, and for that, mad props bro!

  • Was it not Henry the 8th who wrote this?

  • @Fwbs I

"There is a persistent belief that Greensleeves was composed by Henry VIII for his lover and future queen consort Anne Boleyn. Boleyn allegedly rejected King Henry's attempts to seduce her and this rejection may be referred to in the song when the writer's love "cast me off discourteously". However, Henry did not compose "Greensleeves", which is probably Elizabethan in origin and is based on an Italian style of composition that did not reach England until after his death."

  • Actually it is a passamezzo circa 1450 and was not written by Henry VIII (but he was King circa 1485 .. Tudor). The author remains unknown. Many folk songs are like that.

  • Mozart??? lol

  • Do you have tabs on guitar pro?

  • played in the wrong type of key. this should be in dorian mode. in short, you swine. thumbs up if you know what i'm talking about...

  • it makes my fall asleep

  • Na, Mozart hat Greensleeves aber nicht komponiert!

Dennoch, die Version finde ich klasse!

  • yeah this song is very dood

  • wonderfull

  • Awesome Song for guitar!

  • Yes! Mozart had nothing to do with this medieval song! It was composed in the 1500, 16th century, or before! It is a good song. I have it in my head eveyday almost!

  • Many ages almost top

  • There is another rumor it was written by an Italian composer who fell in love with a prostitute.

  • Composer unknown do some reseach jokers what retards; god help us all. Attributed to enery the ate the fat pig king of England that destroyed numerous monumental structures as well as their heritage. He WAS A disgrace to man.

  • Can you send me the sheet music?

  • @hahanaam Can you send me if you get one?

  • Fantastic, going to use something likethis for my wedding!

  • @myoung1982 Me too :) i'll have it playing when im walking down the aisle and then amy nuttals version for our first dance

  • HAHAHA? MOZART?!!?

  • It was Zdravko Colic who wrote this piece of art, no argue.

  • poor soul he owns nothing 50 cents a month and u can feed and house this man

  • dude its common knowledge that it was bono, not mozart

  • It's beautiful, and moving. :)

  • no no no see: the holy grail vortex

  • Damn people will argue about anything!

  • Bueno.Mozart es muy probable que leyera la partitura.

Esta música es muy hermosa pero se trata de un canon de fácil estructura.

  • Mozart??? FFS!

  • That's the best version of Greensleeves I've heard yet.

  • Lets all help the guy who posted this, it seems he owns nothing. That saddens me, lets donate some stuff.

  • @Omaralkemis that's not what I meant. I meant I don't own any of the rights to this piece of music.

  • @bloodocean07 lol.............

  • @bloodocean07 Why did you put "mozart" as the title? 0_0

  • @bloodocean07 Well you do own it if you are a part of the public. The song's public domain. The chances of you getting this vid taken off are 0%.

  • @bloodocean07

Haha, you knew that he is joking right ? :)

    Nice song, btw.

  • @bloodocean07 shshshshshsh you could've kept quiet & got lottsa donations :)))

  • @Hesam0000 I'll still gladly take donations. :)

  • @Omaralkemis Haha that's funny.

  • @Omaralkemis

    LOL!

  • @Omaralkemis -yes my post explains it. poor nubes god help us all.

  • @Omaralkemis Idiot.

  • malade meilleur chanson jamais entendu !! vriament vriament bon !

  • i hope one day you own something my friend.

  • this shit is hot.

  • And that's not even the sound of a piece of music which was composed in the 18th century.

  • It surprises me how there is so much bickering over the song yet only 2 dislikes? okay have you ever heard of when artist/musicians/etc. redo pieces of music, it happened that's why there are a lot of artist who do, oo let's see Amazing Grace, a lot of people have probably done it, Mozart probably found out and redid it himself.

  • wow idiot, mozart had nothing to do with greensleeves... No one knows for sure who wrote it but they say it was written by Henry VIII for Anne Boleyn...

    Beautiful arrangement though :D

  • wow this is beautiful played though

  • Mozarts the shit. BLAZE IT!!!!!

  • ..this beautiful well known medieval song is probably dated late 14th century , it is such an amazing lovely piece.

  • I NEED THIS ON MY IPOD....HOW DO I MAKE THIS HAPPEN? please for the love of the gods help me

  • @CannaQB its pretty simple man, send me a message and i'll tell you how to do it.

  • mozart is good!

  • ich kann es auch auf klavier

  • I know Mozart definitely did not wright this . . . but all I care about is who this exact cover is by, can anyone tell me if they know???

  • Very nice, indeed. Just curious, the rhythm in the "swing section" sounds rather unusual. Anybody know what the time signature is for the music after 2:27? It doesn't sound like 4/4 at all, but if it is 4/4 why does it sound odd sometimes? Random extra beats perhaps?

  • Actually kind sir it is all one song due to the fact that i have bought mozarts classical album and it contains this fine piece of work

  • mozaaaaaaaart????? =S nooooooooooo...

  • screw u 2 bloodocean7

  • so screw whoever says Mozart composed this

  • Mozart did not compose this fkin song

  • mozart, what are you talking about, he did not write this. still nice job

  • This is a really great version of this piece!

    Thanks for posting this one!

  • mozart didn't compose this!!!

  • cool very beautiful .u have a talent

  • How did this NOT get a five star rating from every viewer? Amazing.

  • This is fantastic but it's not by Mozart. :)

    Thanks for uploading this.

  • Mozart has nothing to do with Greensleeves... it was written almost two centuries before his birth!

  • @artemisianereideth Yes, mozard did play this he wrote it...

  • @Rinny0o fuck no

  • @Rinny0o considering that greensleeves is first mentioned in 1580 and mozart was born in 1756 I don't see how he wrote it.

unless he also invented the time machine.

  • Can you post this somewhere as an mp3?

  • Absolutely beautiful!!!! The Vaughn Williams Fantasy version has always been my favourite but I like this just as much. The Lute-Like,gentle Guitar playing is exquisite. Love the video with it's sense of humer.

  • Yet Motzart didn't write the Original it's Bardic.

  • Actually it's unknown who first composed it. The legend is that it was composed by King Henry VIII for Anne Boleyn but that legend is unproven. Definitely not Mozart, though.

  • thats what he meant by bardic

  • Hahaha, that's what I get for trying to sound smart.

  • i think by bardic, you meant that greensleeves came from the Renaissance Musical period (1400's and 1500's), which it did, and so you are correct

  • @moozeditty Loreena McKinnitt credits King Henry. However, I doubt he had a soul considering all those wives he had hanged. So it was probably someone else

  • The best version ever, and that swing part...Masterpiece.
