Now he's with the Flyers. This guy is a game-breaking offensive talent...something the Flyers haven't had since Lindros. As long as he can keep his head straight and have a good attitude, he'll be an amazing player for them.

He has all the talent in the world but plays with no passion, he could easily of been an 80 point guy but didn't put it all together. He is more talented than a lot of the NHL players but definitley not better until he matures.

Let's not get carried away here folks. Forget Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, etc. Zherdev's not even a Patrick Kane or a Phil Kessel or even an Olli Jokinen. True, Z's got a tremendous upside, but he needs to work through some serious attitude problems before he ever becomes an elite player in the NHL. Period. And please don't get me wrong - I love him as a player - but let's not get carried away here.

true. Following up on a career year last year, Zherdev is on pace to yet another career year. In the end though I think they will put up similar numbers and it will be debatable for a long time who is better. Its sad that the rangers could have had both right now.
