  • Is there anything more beautiful than Irish music or an Irish accent

  • you know There are lots of people on earth that ( Major on the minor things in life. )

  • I love her earrings! lol

  • It bothers me to see those who don't respect their instrument enough to wipe it down once in a while. Rosin is not good on the finish.

  • @40dblg its quite sad that you would watch a young girl play fantastic music and instead of saying shes great for her age you have to find some fault, so you pick on the fecking rosin on the fiddle...is it that you cant play as good as her and your jealous? because quite frankly thats just petty!

  • @goldenhair18 People are entitled to their own opinions without being verbally attacked by you. I can see if I had insulted her playing where your attack might have been justified, but I did no such thing and you don't know anything about me so why don't you just sit down, have a can of shut the fuck up and mind your own fucking business!

  • @40dblg this is a public forum, i will write what i want to write when i want to write it! i was not being insulting to you, your attack on me is not justified! you don't know me either so have a bit of manners!

  • Delcious tone well done girl :D x

  • I love the Irish music.

  • Well done!!

  • if you see this Eimear, add me on myspace, we could do a project together. I'm a traditional singer/songwriter. Apparently Damien Dempseys love child ;)

  • She plays as beautiful as she is!!

  • Absolutely fab., Eimar. Total inspiration for a sad old boy of 61 still tryin !

One of these days - when I have the tech-nology, as well as more -ique, I shall post one to show you all how good you got ! I love your genuine smile. Some brilliant players always seem like they really can't be bothered, and it makes me wonder why they do !

  • @bertwindon ..keep tryin, yer not too old...some guys of 90 turn up at the Miltown Malbay summer workshop in Clare..Why don't ya give it a try???

  • sehs awesome, she looks young

  • wow....amazing! better than me! :b

  • looks like they put on alot of rosin on their bows in ireland ? im curious cause i love irish music and i wanna be able to play it :P

just started with fiddle .. and the bow as pappyfiddle said that he stopped worry about how he holds the bow .. it makes sense cause i kinda just hold it so that it feals good and i guess the important thing is that it works :p

  • i was wondering the same thing....a lot of rosin!

  • We don't use a lot of rosin, it's just that a lot of people never clean their instruments.

  • I see, thanks for the respond :-)

  • nice earings =)

  • Faci finger work fa shure!

  • fantastic fiddle style and tempo @ such a young age.

    keep it up Eimear :)

  • is there a reason why she held the bow so high up? She doesnt touch the frog at all.

  • It's the trad way, baby

  • TRAD RULES! X

  • The day I became a free man was the day I quit worrying about what my playing looked like or how I held the instrument and just started playing for the sound and the enjoyment. Somebody started playing violin under the chin one day and doubtless was ridiculed. There are people experimenting with different ways to hold it, etc. and then there are teachers that insist you MUST hold it like this, with no rationale other than this is how its done

  • I really hate when someone is playing an instrumental piece and the camera man does close-ups on the face. Serioulsy, why do I wanna see their faces? I wanna see their hands!

  • There's alot of emotion in someones face when they play an instrument to be honest.

  • Let's say you open a video and you see a violinist playing a song of his own, and you really enjoy it. And you even want to play it too. I'll be easier if you see how and where he moves his hands. But if you can only see his face it'll be harder. Also some of us like to pay attention to the technique.

I play guitar and I like to see how my guitar heroes do it, I really couldn't care any less about their faces.

  • you have a good point but if you think bout it if you dont see a video and put on a cd ya cant see there hands there or technique.. this is where you Ear gets its most practise and you train from it and learn it from that! you can really benefit from that!

  • is fiddle hard?

  • depends if you have the time and practise to put into it! I dont think it is personally but then i been playin a lock of years! But give it a try.... you never know till you do!!

  • Lol.

  • wow, amazing and played with confidence...very good performance. x

  • interesting bow handling, its pretty far up.

  • that's the tradition way.

  • Nice earrings!

  • Very cool version of the Limerick Lasses! Hope to catch a tune with ya at some point..hup!
