To be honest most American's can say that they have ancestry some where over seas , White American's have roots in Europe you know before the world became so culturally and racially mixed. @cmista I think it has alot to do with ww2, the USA weren't interested in helping us out until they were affected, there is also accusations of a lot of British bullion that was sent over to the U.S for safe keeping going "missing", most of all though, the USA's claims that the war was won by them. Regarding the dumps thing, most town centres are fairly modernised and clean now, but the suburbs, especially the working class suburbs tend to be less so.

I live just outside Manchester (lived there originally), in a town called Glossop. Anyway it is sad to see that most British people call Britain a dump. The citys are really, and people lives are really boring here. It's good to know that not everybody over there thinks us Americans are assholes, fat and ignorant or w/e the media says about us.
