No. If you want a EMG-707, you must route the guitar.

If you get Seymour Duncan Blackouts which is what Dino uses now, you can get the Blackouts in a "Phase One" version which means no routing is needed.

Its a matter of opinion, but the POD 2.0 is pretty noisey. The XT works well but is a little buggy as well. If your recording I would suggest one line direct with a direct box, and one line using your POD. Then Take the clean track and run it thru Amplitude or Guitar Rig and get the sound you want without all the static in the original track.
