It will NOT take it/them back, however if you've previously touched a rival mothers young and have put their scent on her young.

There's plenty of documented and anecdotal evidence of human scent having nothing to do with a mother killing her litter. If a mother does kill her litter it's more likely because of the mother being inexperienced or as a mercy stroke because she detects something inherently wrong with her litter and knows they won't be able to survive on their own later in life.

Don't take things you hear for granted.
