hey there, really really strong cover. let me ask you something: do you in anyway relate to these lyrics? if so, it really shows. if not, you have some talent getting into the music. great hair by the way, I got distracted by it once or twice......
Sorry I was trying to send praise but got carried away... This is fucking Excellent !! I would love to hear you in a talent show sing this you would kick fuckin' ass !!
Thanks a lot for this great cover. Actually i like it a lot more than the original. Great vocals! I am not a great guitarrist myself but it sounds great to me, so once again very good.
I'm not one to put comments down, but the way you delivered the last line and very last word stole the air from my chest, my eyes welled up instantly. Gifted.
Mind has been blown. Your voice is as close to the perfection that Ryan Adams sings it. Tryung to teach myself"Taught myself how to grow old" Fig. and lit. I would have given you the 5th elusive star if you only showed your hands for those crossing musical paths. Capo on three, I see. Thanks
I wish I shared your perspective on that! Actually it depends if you mean earlier or later Ryan Adams because lately he seems to have gone a bit wrong...
I'm focussing on writing at the moment- check out the MySpace address in the info panel- it's very Ryan influenced material... The newest song is 'Before Sunrise'.
i have never commented on a video before but after hearing 10 seconds of this i knew i had to. this is awesome. i thought it was ryan adams at first. wow. keep it up mannn.
Very good man. Great vocal. Clever use of reverb - sounds a lot like the original - you should post more man. Didn't you do So Alive? Where's it gone?
amazing cover of the song... i havent had a chance to hear too many covers of "i taught myself how to grow old" yet, but i have a feeling yours will be best anyway !
This pushes back all the dark energy in the Universe with one bright, crisp blast of white energy. It's lucky I have my astronomical force field to protect me from such a telephysic force.
good job man. best cover of this song that I have heard. i nominate you for the ryan adams cover band, you could call yourself the cold roses or something. Even if people don't know who he is, with spot on covers like this, you could get a nice following.
really nice voice and very balanced guitarplaying, catching the right "atmosphere" of the song. you start to stress a bit around 2:10, but thats just "picking" from me, I think! Great cover! Best RA cover i've seen so far!
man.. this is truly brilliant.. wonderful? which word would I use.. i know I'm probably better off this way.. but .. honestly you taught us how to grow.. we are all crooked on the outside.. and like you, our insides's caved. But,! we can always listen to you
Yes! You are bang right! Also in the little "Related" video section, the first one is Ryan Adams singing it on Letterman and he probably wouldn't be singing a song written by me...
Wow! That's dedication! Personally I don't think it has the same depth and it's a bit too clean for my tastes! Don't get me wrong- its still great but Cold Roses was a really magic album for me! Meadowlake Steet is my all time favourite Ryan Adams song- the vocal performance is really incredible!
I couldn't ask for a greater compliment- I only wish I had your confidence! Please check out my MySpace for some original material. Well originalish...
Thanks man! Effects thanks to a bit of Logic Express magic! It is a great album although, I have to say I think it's not quite up to the standard of Cold Roses. Please check out my MySpace for some original material.
I've given up comparing RA albums, cause I can never pick between them. And usually my opinion changes from day-to-day anyway. They're all classics! All I know is Heartbreaker is my favourite album of all time. Always will be, I expect.

Thanks! I use an Alesis IO14, Logic Pro, and a AKG Perception mic, with a bit of compression, some overdrive on the mix and a vocal plate reverb...
