Seriously. It makes absolutely no sense the COMPLETE lack of knowledge they have of designers. Even if you watch basic television, read a fashion magazine once in a blue moon or leave the house for goddakes you know SOMETHING about the fashion industry.

And it's not just this season or CNTM but occurs in every season of NTM. It bugs the hell out of me more than anything. It's especially bizarre when there's a contestant with a fashion forward style sense who doesn't know even the top designers.
