@necrosain all countries have their political problems Armenia being one of them, and azerbaijan also, in Armenia you have an oligarchy, the economy is literally run by several very powerful business men, in Azerbaijan its the same, except it leans toward a dictatorship, since the alieyvs have been ruling like a monarchy for so long, and dont distribute the wealth accordingly hence why your oil "rich" nation has a lot of poverty, even more than Armenia if taken into prospective with population

@ZeeGooner We don't know the official stats on poverty in Azerbaijan, but it's certainly not worse than Armenians. Nice exaggeration :), some people from the border cities even tried to sneak themselves into Azerbaijan but were deported. Azerbaijan also has immigrants coming from all over the place, so I doubt it's as poor as Armenia, while Armenians are in large amounts abandoning Yerevan and even the smaller towns and cities. I've spoken to Persian Armenians who haven't even visited Armenia :)

That's pretty cool, you got an actual historian interview. Not even a regular one from a university, but an actual military one, which is much more specific and expansive. Not only did they want Karabakh around that time, they wanted Javakhetia, and Borchalo, two of Georgia's provinces. The Van war was one of the most bloodiest among the Turks/Kurds against the Armenians/Russians.
