The 80's was the last decade when music was still full-out happening in the U.S. A small number of nice work happened in the early 90's but music was already "in decline" by then. Since then, the quality has decreased dramatically. A handful of artists have continued to make good music, but only a handful....thank goodness World Music and Smooth Jazz has filled in the "void" magnificently. Karyn White, here, is so, so entertaining in this most fabulous 80's groovy thing.
