I've been wondering the song meaning for a while now too. From what I gather it's from the viewpoint of someone who acts arrogant and apathetic but cares for who they are addressing. The lines "it's a goldmine" and "I have found a way to celebrate" seem like the narrator is wont to make fun of a bad situation rather than muster up any resistance to it, the typical cynical smartass move. I wouldnt say that i completely agree with his analysis but it is still a plausible interpretation of the lyrics. TPC's lyrics tend to be a bit abstract and in order to figure out what they mean it requires a bit of an analysis. If you don't like sparkles' explanation then instead of pulling insults out of your ass maybe you should explain what meaning you get out of the lyrics
