Loved Ottillie and Chris Barber - takes me back to my youth. Saw them at the Portsmouth Guildhall some time in the early sixties while at college there. Sadly missed but we can still listen to 'Carelss Love' and "There'll be a hot time in the old town tonight'. Pure gold.
How sad to hear of the passing of this great blues singer,I cannot think of another lady from these shores who comes near her interpretation of the blues. Will be sadly missed, but has left some great memories.
Fantastic singer with the best ever British Trad Band ever. I would love to hear her sing How Long Blues again. She is a knock-out at it!
