Wayne, the brand is "Wilson" which is a design and trademark of Don Wilson and Bob Bogle. It's limited edition, only a number of them were made. I own a Wilson sunburst myself, sounds just like the Mosrite. My older brother owns an original issue Mosrite and we at times jam to the sounds of Ventures and Shadows tunes.

I also have seen the ventures copies by the ship builder from Japan, they were made in the '80's and look very nice. I Love My '65 sunburst ( neck adjusts at body), so sweet! Love Surf, Chichi RULES!
