  • Rule number 1: Never ever say "You decide" to a taxi driver. They will drive you around and that will just cost you more money.

  • Deep fried, the viets love it.

  • Every year, 30,000 people die as a result of road accidents in Vietnam! That doesn't include the number of people injured!

  • i used to live near there 4 years ago

  • Yep, just an average day.

  • I miss Vietnam....i was there in Feb 08 and going again Jan 09...cannot wait!!

  • I wonder how many people get into accidents each year there.

  • Not as many as you would think, nobody has a lawyer, nobody has insurance, and nobody wants to go to the hospital.

  • Its not illegal to have insurance, as it is in America?

  • I think you mean illegal to not have insurance, and the answer is "no"

Imagine finding an insurance company crazy enough to insure in that environment, and then try to imagine people from one of Asia's poorest countries actually being able to afford it.

  • there's more rules now...everyone must wear safety helmet or else and this video its like 2 years ago many things has been changing lately in VN

  • so many mopeds.....

  • I must go to HCM. I must not drive in HCM.

  • If all the people in this video were suddenly replaced by Americans they'd all crash instantly.

  • That is absoloutly the truth, we just don't pay attention enough

  • I don't know what the liscence requirements are in Ho Chi Minh city, but in germany it takes years to get a driving liscence. If people were better drivers here driving would be more fun.

  • I saw kids of no more than 10 or 12 years old driving motorbikes, so the requirements can't be too tough

  • I don't even think you need license plate unless you get caught by the Police.Or just give them like 5bucks in USD, then youre free.

  • thats crazy

  • i lived in HCMC for a year and never got tired of crossing the street with no stops in the traffic ever. you have to just trust people are responsible. a real lesson for an american. when i got back to america i got a ticket for jaywalking after getting used to just crossing the street whenever i felt like. amazing.

  • Like I say in the first part of the video, "I like the way you drive here"

  • In the usa people often said Asian cant drive

well i love to see the people saying that drive in vietnam buhahahhah

  • In America we are used to not paying attention, my wife is from Phnom Penh, where the traffic is even crazier outside the city, just imagine that and throw in some water buffalo, chickens, wandering cattle and an elephant or two.

  • traffic chaos

  • This is good. This will train your attention. )

  • what the country is this!!

  • Vietnam

  • aww!yeh viets!thats awesome messed!motorcycle traffics

  • There are traffic lights, but I don't think they mean anything to the locals.

  • No stop signs, no speed limits, no left or right side of the road, no road signs at all.

  • Dios santo!!!!There're not stoplights???!!!!
