  • 5 minute makeup. This video is 8 minute.

  • I honestly thought that you already had foundation on at the beginning of the video

  • You're flawless!!!

  • You're great make-up artist! :)

  • you are so beautiful, its insane

  • Lisa, thank you for these makeup tutorials. They are so helpful for someone with a mother that never wore makeup and hence never taught her daughter any tricks;) As I've headed into my twenties I've started being much more creative with my makeup than ever before, and I love how your looks are beautiful but also fresh and more natural looking than most. I also love that we happen to have similar dark hair and eyes and fair skin, so I can imagine the looks on me very easily. Thank you so much.

  • Lisa could you please do a make up tutorial for wheatish indian skin. Im finding it very difficult to wear any make up besides eyeliner! Thank you so much <3

  • MUFE HD is my favorite foundation. Absolutely perfect for my skin. I wish it was more affordable!

  • looks great

  • very beautiful

  • Lisa, thank you so much for the answer. I'm going with Illusoire. Have you tried mac's prep + prime beauty balm? Do you know whether it's apropriate for combination/oily skin?

  • Lisa, I'm going to buy one of the Illusion D'ombre eyeshadows and I'm indecide between two colors, Ebloui and Illusoire. Wich one is more wearable for during the day (under sun light)? Wich one do you like best? Wich one out of the entire Illusion D'ombre eyeshadow range is you favourite?

  • @larissag9367 both of the ones you mentioned are my favourites. Illusoire is the most wearable during the day and Eboui is fantastic for a more dramatic look or smoky eye. x

  • you look really pretty in this video, even before the makeup and all that

  • Chanel eyeshadows are the best for "lay" users. They are almost fail safe for mature skins. They smude easily, have little fall-out and are easily buildable. But the price.... I do this look quite often with Illusoire (I already have a back-up) and am now going to test it with Maybelline Tattoo Tough as Taupe as a base. Just curious to see the effect.

  • @IsisTiamat

how did it go using the maybeline eyeshadow...

  • This is a perfect everyday look! And I am very surprised I haven't heard about Avon's blush/highlighter duo. Looks really lovely. :))

  • do you like eclat by yves saint laurent or do you prefer clinique's airbrush? which one would you recommend?

  • @Cfhsol I prefer the Clinique one ... a little more coverage and less refective x

  • HOW!? They way you apply your makeup is so amazing! It looks so effortless! I love your videos!

  • @jar8789 thanks x

  • Hi Lisa, thanks so much for your videos, I'm a girly girl who's be trapped in a tomboy's body because I had NO idea how to apply makeup! I have a new lease on life, and I'm loving it!

I would love you could suggest some tips and tricks for really pale skin - blue eyes and brown hair... Definate pink undertones, no yellow :P

The whole suggestion about using a brown/black mascara has seriously just changed my life! ha ha ha...

Thanks Lisa, you are an absolute gem.

  • Your fabulous

  • Please let us know what kind of mirror you use... is it a magnify mirror? Do you recommend using one? Also, what light is the right light to put make up one at home?

    LOVE your tutorials!

    Cheers.

  • Hello lisa, how to use the fan brush?

  • You are beautiful :)

  • Hey Lisa, love the Chanel shadow colour! Are there any dupes close to the colour/texture of it? I can't afford Chanel makeup just yet...

  • can you make a video on how to wear makeup when you use glasses?

  • gorgeous style. dignifying, lovely , seductive and 'serious' at the same time. achievable by us common 'mortals' (there are lovely women everywhere, but we don't have knowledge or skills to look the way we feel/ending up with a mask on our face, and finally quitting). Thank you so much for helping 'us' to look the way we feel.

Good luck with everything you do Lisa; happy forthcoming holidays!!

  • Fab!!!!!

  • Lovely video and look!

When you apply the foundation with the brush - do you put a drop of foundation on your hand and dab your brush into it - before applying it to your face - or do you use something else?

Also what is your best face exfoliation tip?

    Thanks Lisa, Love you.

  • Gorgeous, i love this look

  • I was so enamored of this look that I went and purchased the Chanel Illusion D'ombres in Illusoire. I have had terrible luck getting it to stay on.

It fades to about 20% of its intensity and creases within a couple hours. This is extra surprising because I rarely have trouble with creasing with any eyeshadow. I also tried it over Too Faced Shadow Insurance with very little improvement.

    What am I doing wrong???

  • you remind me of monica bellucci =)

  • So beautiful, so chic!

  • creme blush should put powder first then blush or blush first then powder? and should i apply the powder on top of the blush? confused. thanks

  • Do you think you would ever write a book about how you became a makeup artist or a book of your work???? I would buy either in a heartbeat :o) xxx

  • amaizing *_*

  • Your eyebrows are perfect!

  • You should be a model

  • no you just look like the chick of weeds now.

  • I love this look, and the tutorial!

  • You're like the pretty version of Keira Knightley.

  • That mascara made your eyelashes look soooo nice

  • klkl

  • lisa, could you do a makeup on an older woman? I'm 58 - good skin and I'm pretty good with makeup for an amateur but I would love to see something for an older woman. I do love what you have done on your videos! I want my skin to look as fresh and polished as possible.

  • Can you do more tutorials on woman of colour please? :)

  • Hi Lisa, I absolutely adore your videos! When I see a new Lisa Eldridge vid in my subscription box it makes my day! Nearly all the makeup I buy now is on your recommendation. Thank you for taking the time to film for us <3

  • Lisa do you make alone your hair in your videos? I LOVE THEM

  • Lisa I want to see u in person, sooo pretty.

  • helloooo Lisa :-) it's lovely! kisss

  • Finally a youtube guru who doesn't suck at French pronunciation. you rule.

  • You are one of my top three fav makeup artists on youtube......the second and third are the pixi woo sisters and Wayne Goss.....i just love all of you because when i am down i just watch some of your vids, take all your advice to heart and try all your tips and just feel 100% better about myself. You are awesome, thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication!!

  • how od were you when you started wearing makeup?

  • I rarely ever leave the house without black eyeliner, but I might just try this look it's so fresh and beautiful. You seem so genuinely nice too, thanks for all of the helpful tutorials, I'm enjoying them all the way from Washington, D.C.:)!

  • can you do a video on hooded/asian eyes? how to make them look bigger?

  • Always love all your nail colors! Love how they're always so classy and chic colors and not too girly like everyone does pinks/oranges etc. Just through your nails you're telling people a story.

  • It 's a really nice mak eup. Simple and elegant, with you, Lisa. I love it .. Congratulations!

  • How could anyone dislike this video?seriously Lisa is my favorite makeup artist , unlike those other make make up artists that always say subscribe 24 7

  • WoW Lisa for me, this is the first time that I see you using a Sigma Brush!!!

  • I can't wait til that blush comes out!

  • The avon blush is still available on the website, I think it isn't included in every brochure x

  • Your english is so perfect!

I'm from Milan and I can understand everything you say!

    kisses from Italy

  • This woman is so beautiful, she makes ANYTHING look good.

  • :-))

  • Lisa do you make alone your hair in your videos? I LOVE THEM

  • Oh my Gosh, you're pretty! :-O

  • Brilliant!

  • You are so beautiful with and without the makeup. I love your videos and after watching them I feel more confident about wearing makeup myself, but what I love the most is how eloquent you are and how you share all of your knowledge with your viewers freely. Thank you so much Lisa!

  • The blush and highlighter really looks good on you. You should wear this more often.

  • First off, thank you yet again for a fantastic tutorial.

I have a question for you about mineral foundations: I've noticed that you don't feature them in tutorials. Are you a fan? If so, do you recommend any in particular? I'm not sure if it's possible to still use regular concealer? I'm interested in the hopes that they'll offer a natural effect and won't break out my young, shine & blemish-prone combo skin. Thanks! xx

  • Beautiful, you have such good skin!

also I was wondering if one day you could do a tutorial on your hair?

  • lisa is on such a different level to anyone make-up guru on youtube with all respect to everyone else on here, se explains it so well and has so much experence<3

  • holy, you're beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow.

  • This makeup is absolutly gorgeous :) x

  • another beautiful look Lisa, I cant wait to do this. I have this eyeshadow and I really love it!

    xo Michele

PS... did your lashes straighten back out after you had that procedure done?

  • I hate how you don't put the look at the beginning so we see what look you are creating in the first place.

  • @IkenaiKarin funny... i like being surprised!

  • you're flawless!

  • does that eyeshadow have a tendency to crease?!

  • hey... i love the eyeshadows from chanel... I have blue eyes! which colour will be the best for it? I want to buy one and need help for the choice ;)

  • @MrsKillers69its quite a statement colour but eboui is amazing on blue eyes x

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Thank you very much... I love this colour!

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom I think it's "ebloui" meaning "dazzled"

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom and for green eyes? :D PS. i like so much this colour and this Idea! :D

  • Hi, Lisa, to realize this make up if an eyeshadow is not possessed as this of Chanel thing we can use in alternative??? And of which color??? Thanks thousand.

  • @lorenacoci any cream eyeshadow that contains some shimmer. You can find something like this from Make Up For Ever, Rimmel and Bobbi Brown (as well as lots of other brands). They are no exactly the same texture but the result will be similar x

  • @lorenacoci Hello there

I guess the illusoire colour must have been very popular, since I haven't been able to find it.But I found something very similar in colour, just much much cheaper. The colour can be found in the Eye Colors Palette No.# 04 from Make Up Factory. It is however not a cream shadow but is very soft, blend- and buildable and highly pigmented and works perfect if you use a concealer of primer under it.

Hope this helps you guys ^^

  • love the before and after shots side by side at the end

  • Lisa, silly question: I just love the 2 rings you always wear on your right hand. Where are they from?

  • @somersje she mentions that in her video cat rings and other things or sth!

  • Lisa do you make alone your hair in your videos? I LOVE THEM

  • this is really gorgeous look! I love the eyes and the lips! Kiss =*

  • I love your hair :) I think you should do vid on your hair... everything about it colour to condition cut to everythingggg xxxx

  • please do makeup collection! you have enormous amounts of makeup that would be sooo interesting

  • STUNNING

  • Lisa, I know you do a lot of travels for. However, for your holidays, what do you pack for makeup and brushes? I have a horrible time packing my brushes.

  • I know this is going to sound stalker/creeperish, but it's definitely not. Anyways, I had the most random dream last night. I woke up (in my dream) and Lisa was there with her massive makeup collection and we had the most amazing session involving foundation, concealer, bronzer/contour, and it was incredible! Haha. I looked so perfect after she was done. Now that's what I call a fantastic dream! Watch this is so going to get thumbed down. Oh well. :]

  • you are so elegant and graceful looking. You remind myself of audrey hepburn :) i love your videos i think you are SO talented and i always learn so much

  • Sososo beautiful :)

    Ur ardent follower/fan/subscriber

  • you remind me of a mature kiera knightley and all I can say is that she has a lot to look forward to if she ages as into a stunning woman such as yourself... beautiful!

  • Can you adopt me please?

  • what concealer would you recommend for really dark under eye circles? Lot's of people recommend the bobbi brown or the lise watier salmon concealer but they're not available where I am =(

  • @lis9211 Laura Mercier Secret Concealer! There's a two pack which has light and dark and allows you to mix and match for differnt parts of your face, it's slightly thicker than most under eye concealers but I find if I put a bit of that under my eyes and right in that main line that gets the darkest, then press a fine powder on top of it it covers well, and I get them bad for a 21 year old!! It's great for the rest of your skin too I love it!!! The only thing that covers my pimples I've found!

  • woooooooooow. I love this make up!!

  • daarum

  • Love this make up look :) The Avon Colour & Contour Blush Duo is beautiful! It's one of my favourite products at the moment. I'm really tempted to try the Chanel shadow, it looked stunning on you xx

  • You are such a stunning beautiful woman <3

  • Hello Lisa! I have the same question about AVON ROSE GLOW - where did you get it? I can't find it in tere catalogue

this video was great! every time I watch your vids I want to buy everything you use for make0up)

  • @dxhable @MalloryErin92 I dont think its out yet but I'm pretty sure it launches soon. I'll double check and get back to you x

  • @dxhable I found this on ebay for 3.99 from a seller called sues_make-up_world they had it in the avon brochure about two months ago but it is not in the most recent one :D

  • Hi Lisa, your videos are incredible and you are so gorgeous. Thank you so much for all the tutorials, I have learnt so much. Love from Aus.

  • Hey lisa! love the video! I can't find the AVON ROSE GLOW anywhere!! If you have time could you send me a link?

  • so so beautiful :) will go to my favorites :)

  • Hi Lisa :) I've been wanting to try the clinique concealer for a long time. Do you think neutral fair is too dark if you're NW20?

  • How often do you cleanse your brushes, and what product do you use?

  • @janeeyy No friggin way. I love Pixiwoos but Lisa is totally on a whole different level. She makes everything look so easy and explains so much better than anyone on youtube.

  • @RaidensONLYfan toooooooootally agree with you

  • Comment removed

  • @taytanaka not mental. its my opinion

  • Comment removed

  • Lisa, could you do a video on makeup for ultra-sensitive skin? I can't seem to find any suitable products or ways to apply them properly:/

  • Am I the only one who gets randomly taken off the subscription list...second time...don't know what's up :/

  • I'm 59 and love all your natural looks. I would love to see you make some videos for we older ladies. It would be great to see an older model.

    ~elaine~

  • Beautiful 

  • where did you get your rings/what brand are they?

  • @xChampagneBlondex Can you unblock me?

  • Lisa, have you ever used a Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush?

  • Hi Lisa,

Do you find there is much difference between a kabuki brush and a flat foundation brush in terms of applying the HD MUFE?

    Thank you x

  • Do you prefer applying the HD MUFE with a kabuki or a flat foundation brush?

  • Good day Lisa. Hope you're doing well. Can you pls refer me to a past video or make a recommendation on foundations that work well on people with larger pores? My MAC studio fix & Almay Smart Shade seem to amplify the appearance, nevermind using a primer. Thanks in advance. Have a great day!

  • Lisa, would you happen to know whether the Shu Uemura lash curlers have been discontinued?!? (the 'classic' ones, not the mini version) I've had mine for more than 10 yrs, but I was recently looking around to buy new ones and was unable to find them anywhere! I'm hesitant to buy them off ebay (for risk of fakes and whatnot...) Have the company stopped making these? *gasp* ...say it ain't sooooo!!!

  • Hello from Texas! Great video!! Thanks so much for making it clear what products you were using, and explaining what you were doing. I hate to be a whiner, but I am tired of the music video types of makeup tutorials. I am a new subscriber, but will definitely be watching more of your videos!

  • Any recommendations for a similar product to Avon colour and contour?

  • Hi Lisa! We can't get the Avon blush you used in the states. Do you think the Benefit box blush in '10' would be a good substitute? It also is a blush - highlighted split.

    Thanks for the fabulous videos!

    Katie from Illinois

  • I not the tyoe of person to throw compliments around as I think alot of women nowadays have such a generic boring look to them but you are absolutely gorgeous, Lisa. Out of all the beauty 'guru's' on youtube you are by far the most talented! x

  • Arghh that sigma brush is gorgeous!!!

  • Love this look :-)

  • Hi, Lisa, what do you think of Sigma brushes as a makeup artist, 'cos there are so much opinions, for instance, i have them but the quality wasnt satisfactory

  • dear Lisa....I have a lot of wrinkles right under the eyes....do you think I can use any creammy eyeshadow? usually when i use an eyeshadow underneath I get that drooping eyes effect :D......I am curios to try this one from chanel.....all girls talk so well about the illusion d'hombre :D

btw thank you, i've got the clinique airbrush concealer cause i saw it in your oldest videos and i can't wait to use it :D♥

  • I love ur way lisa in makeuping

  • Lisa,

I would love to see your rendition of a look with blue mascara!

    xx

  • Great video. I like the graceful blandness and aesthetic lack of colour. Although I appreciate it, I am a different kind of person who goes for garish colours. I have even tried to introduce colours in one of the maths tutorials. Please check out my video and comment.

  • Hi Lisa!

What translucid powder did you use? which ones do you recomend?

    Love your videos <3

  • @chanelmiss13 Sleep

  • Great skin these days!

  • Hi Lisa,

I was wonder if you can do a video, in which you explain how to chose the right shades of red/purple lipsticks to specific complexion?

I'm dreaming about dark lips but I can't find "the one" lipstick's shade for me.

  • If you love hair and make up check my videos out I do a how to do a redken's acid rain hair color and cut!

  • Very pretty look.

  • I wonder... I was so in love with this shade I was set on buying it,

but than the lady of the store applied it on me and at the end of the (ok, very hot-) day it was all creased... is it something she could have done? or maybe it needed more time to set or?

PS. Love this color on your eye, and the skin a bit pale, thats what made me try it :)

  • >:( how.are.you.so.pretty!? ahhh! ..nice look :)

  • GENIUS :)
