  • I just found this now, and it's amazing! I love it!

  • This is beautiful. Fantastic work, keep it up! :)

  • The lyrics are really really really good

how old are you may I ask?

  • Wow. I love this! Oh, I would KILL to get a MP3 version (ok, not kill). It got me a little emotional, this would make a very good OST. Ever listened to Karekano OST? I know it's anime, but it's one of the very best OST I've ever listened to.

  • @Moniiica3 And, by the way, those lyrics were pretty awesome!

  • I love this song, it feels like it's telling a story. I would definately buy the sheet music for this.

  • Luke your amazing! <3

  • Excellent you definitely achieved your aim. Good title for the piece too, the resolution of the chords played are im-perfect.

  • i love it.... the intro might benefit from being a bit shorter but i'm not sure :D i loved it though.

  • this is so good! How can anyone say this is bad?! <3 You have inspired me to make an original piano song! *starts scribbling piano notes...*

  • wow!!

You didnt tell me about this one!

i love it, really really do!

    x o x o x o x o x o x o

  • Luke. Your so grate. I started playing at christmas self tolt by you and would like to say thank you and keep it up.

  • Luke, you're incredible as always ♥

  • Goosebumps all over!

  • you should get a job where you can play your music in movies ;-)

  • Well if you happen to be in that business then give me a shout please!

  • I liked this piece very much, and think the words go very very well with it. Well done.

  • that was BLOODY AMAZING MATE!

  • This is gorgeous. <3

  • i dont listen to piano much... but believe me, this is truly beautiful

  • I think you are extremely talented, and this song is stunning :)

  • thats prog music. and thats my favorit and its what all other music genre comes from original, ( i could imagen ) anyway awesome song. maybe to many fade outs but still awesome

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • perfectly imperfect!

    beautiful job :)

  • you should put words to it, even take the words from a poem

  • My only concern is.. will we ever get to see your face? great peice btw lol.

  • Maybe i have no face! Just disembodied piano playing hands!

  • now THAT is youtube worthy.

  • I've seen his head. It's the size of three heads, with wide cauliflower ears, no mouth, and a thousand diamond-like eyes. It's best that no-one sees it because the sheer volume of information one receives from seeing it makes the brain implode.

  • Well, he's no Yann Tiersen......... but I suppose it'll do!

Nice job Lukems, you'll be a star!

  • Wow a nice piece of music, my favorite part of the piece is beetween 2:45 thru 3:20, but the rest of it is really excellent as well. I wish I had your talent, you can go to piano classes forever and the bottom line is you either have the talent or you dont, you obviously have an amazing talent, I know its corny and cliche' but keep up the great work!

  • I too love dissonance. I learned not to shy away from it. If it's subtle, then it's powerfully subtle.

  • Well, I don't want to repeat what everyone is saying, but just know that it is excellent and moving.

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • Beautiful. Love around 3:16 where the bass copies the melody. Really nice piece, well done!

  • Ur good

  • wether or not you think this needs some work, i think it's absolutely beautiful :)) keep it up :)) xoxo

  • This is truly amazing and beautiful. Great job!

  • I think I might have listened to this over a dozen times... bravo my friend!! ^_^

  • This was really good. So much better than anything I could come up with. How on earth does someone become so good? I am well jealous. :D

    Great job, Luke.

  • that was lovely, you can feel the sadness and love and pride and ... hmm compassion just Pouring out

  • The song moves me and to me that is what makes a song perfect! Thank you so much for putting this song on youtube!

  • No thank you for taking the time to listen to it!

  • wow I really like that idea...imperfection...incredible, and love the side note!

  • beautiful work... 5* for you,

    Lilly

  • this is amazing. and i have to say, what you wrote in the description box was so pleasing. i like that you think of imperfection that way. and in this song, like you said, it's not perfect, but that's what makes it beautiful.

    i love it!

  • you can totally hear that you are inspired by the fray ;)

i like it but it feels like there's something missing. maybe a lead voice for a melody or something. can't put it down properly. this way it's more like a progression of chords but not a full song. does anyone get what i mean? guess i'm too tired to think straight...

  • I understand you, when i started i wasn't sure if i should wirte a piece for just piano, or one that would supplement a vocal melody. In the end i left it as a piano sketch, because i'm not really a great lyricist. But yeh you are right it sounds way too chordal in places, but im trying!

  • i would say some of the chords could use a little work, like you said, but it still sounds very nice nonetheless. a little revision and this song would be perfect. i love how it's slow at first, but then picks up the tempo later. very nice, 5 stars.

  • Very good work, I was excited as soon as I saw in my subscription box that this was an original. I've tried unresolved chords recently and I love how they sound, but none of my compositions are anywhere near this. 5/5!

  • Awesome work micro.

  • its lovely.

It feels so melancholic at first and then uplifts...

  • brilliant, i loved the anticipation the dissonant chords created and i thought it worked really well. I think my favorite part is 2:51 - 3:07 , but I'm kind of a sucker for low notes : ) Anyways, thanks for putting up an original!

  • i enjoyed this very much. five stars.

and by the way, i am a huh-uge fan of unresolved chords.

been playing 10 years.... wish i had this kind of talent.

  • another thing I am trying to improve on aswell :L. I love it. Your side note is the best thing I've read all day.

  • Loved it all except the chord progression at 0:43 - 0:52.

    5 stars nontheless.

  • Thanks for that!

Yeh some of the chords are a bit uncomfortable, but my game plan was that they would highlight the more pleasant chords!

  • love it!! it sounds amazing, and your side note totally makes sense :] well done!

  • beautiful! :) every time i watch your videos i wondered what something you wrote would sound like. it's great!

  • i LOVE it!

    more originals, definately!:) x

  • Loved it Bullet!!

  • Cheers mate

  • I like =]
