Thank you , thank you, thank you. You are the ONLY place I have found to demonstrate the process of getting to a standing position. Some other douchebag named Matt Sexton has about 9 different videos that are supposedly "how to paddleboard" on ehow.com and he NEVER shows how to get up. I was always mystified as to why I saw paddleboarders standing up and they were always bone dry. I could never figure out how they got on a board without getting wet at all.

i learned how to surf in 4 days, after that , is all about geting experience. when someone says they want to learn, i don't think they wan't to learn all those tricks like snaps and floaters, only the basics, like standing up , padling, and surf along the wave
