i agree, science is very important in islam and we use it to try to prove islam which is why many scientists come to islam, not through what we dont know but through what we do know, science is VERY important i was even bullied at school when asked what religion i followed i said science (as being a convert to islam) scientists need to be independant and not corrupt and scence needs to be taught to the children properly without a religous undertone

actually it says the world is the shape of an ostrech egg but set like a flat carpet which is true it is round butwhen yoou walk on it it is like you are walkin on something flat this is something that you need to look into just because maybe somebody says so doesn't make it true for starters do they know arabic??? and if they say they do do they then speak better arabic than all the other arabs??? no they just lie may be not about speaking arabic but about thtranslation

Yeah, when you walk on the surface of earth it feel s like it´s flat (Except for hills, and mountains.) BUT it still does not change the fact that the Q´uran is claiming that the world is flat!

This is a very common tact used by creationists... broad statements backed with no actual evidence whatsoever. I can't help but think a statement like this isn't 'jerome responds', rather 'jerome repeats what he learned in church'.

Considering the advances in all fields of science that have come from research conducted by universities, I'd tend to believe them over the group that bases everything on the bible first, as being the basis for all knowledge and infallible

Nice video. The problem is that the theists have been taught that 'Truth' is only in the bible (or whatever ancient text they use). Actual truth is generally not understood because they are ignorant of the basic sciences. The way out of this is education. Oddly, they vaguely recognize that this will destroy their 'Truth' and so they fight it ...
