Is he about to fucking cum at 03:30? What is this shit and since when is "big three" bench press MACHINE, leg press and pulldown? Silly me, I thought that the "big three" were the barbell exercises squat, deadlift and bench press??
@MrAudity yes, I am aware of that and true about different individuals having different make ups. Now with the optimum weight, isn't that something that would change for a person as they become a better lifter? You have to agree that machines are not as good as good for developing strength as free wghts that require stabilization. From my half ass research on bbs I've determined that the reason why they do super slow and machines is not because they're more effective, but because they're safer.
@MrAudity guess what...the fast twitch fibers are the biggest! Like I said...the number of fast twitch fibers activated is by load not volume! With that logic you would take 5 lbs, rep to failure and do just as good or better than me doing db presses with 90 lbs for reps. Time and time again once I up the load, drop the reps and get enough cals and rest I grow bigger and stronger...easy. Sure this guy might be an '' a" hockey player, but his extreme hypertrophy is what you get from bbscience
60 lbs bench wooo strong ass an ox. This guy is natualy skinny so if you're fat and think this will do it you're wrong, and if you want to build muscle you'll end up looking like this guy.
wow, this is retarded. You use light weight for one super slow rep. No athlete should do this, no person looking to gain muscle should do this. Just because it tires you out does not mean it's effective. To get bigger or stronger or faster you have to recruit fast twitch fibers and the number you recruit is according to the weight you use. So if you want to make progress lift heavy, low reps and drop the shitty machine. Nobody ever got big off of machines. Deadlift, squat, bench, and a pull.
when performing these exercises is he aiming for a TUL of 1:30 by going for 45 secs positive/negative. Or is he moving as slow as he possibly can to reach fatigue in a certain time period.
This is much slower than Ken Hutchins super-slow. Seems brutal. What is the objective of this type of training? Seems very aerobic and the resistance is low because of the very slow movements. So, with the low tensions and long set duration I would not expect much strength or muscle mass improvement. What kinds of results are trainees getting from this program?
It's only a 1 minute effort, well into the anaerobic range,(tho 'B.B.S." explains how this also replaces any aerobic training). Negatives are "easier" than positives, so it might make sense to avoid the back-&- forth between the two , thus not hitting the negative until the are muscles weakend enough to get a real challenge from it..
Ha, at 8:45 he really starts cumming.

There is probably a reason why that kid looks like he couldn't even do 5 pull ups or bench his own weight...
