  • I love the Pink panther quote at 1:34!!! lol

  • Me too!

  • NICE

  • Hi, i'm french, sorry for my poor english language .... This is a great version, but have you ever listen Dorado himself version ? This is not on youtube ..... Have a look to his records .... I show him many time playing this song, and FOR MR, this is the only version ...........

  • Yes i agree, this is the best version of this song. Better than the Actual Rosenberg Brothers..Excelent improvisation, "very clean".

  • i love this song

  • Truly awesome playing! I too believe that many of the guitarists today playing gypsy jazz try to impress with speed and not so much with putting feeling in their melodic structure. All I would like to know is whether or not I could be his student as I would love to play like that. Thanks again for uploading your videos...please tell me you have more in store...and whether or not you have any cd's for sale.

  • I think the "clean sound" is the video cam's mike more than the bass...wonderful anyway.

  • I think by "clean" they are referring to Joscho's technique, not the actual sound of the recording. His melody and tempo never fail him even during the really fast and complex passages. Even a trained ear is pretty hard pressed to find an "error" in Joscho's playing, which to me makes him a hero. :)

  • FUUUUUUUUCK! YEP ME TOO.

  • The most perfect technique I have heard in a while. Very good melodic ideas....The best of both worlds. Usually players are strong in one, but not the other. When you can do both equally well, you are in a class all your own. I am an instant fan.

  • His improviation is actually, in many ways, more intersting than other gypsy guitarist who mostly try to impresse with speed. This guy has alot more thought behind his solos. But i don't really like the clean sound. Get a real double bass!

  • His improvisation is really like stochelo's version. Joscho is not a great creator but a great interpretator. His play is based on speed and where this melody, like La gitane, is beautiful it is in its breath, the "silence". his way of playing is more like a kind of "far west touch" bythe way he strings his notes, original. For great improvisations listen to jimmy rosenberg when he is not drugged.

  • Fuuuuuck me he never ceases to amaze me.

  • thanks for the upload!

  • He's great even without too many fireworks!

  • i wish that older chap would upload that video he is taking in the front row >.>

  • haha...

  • Very nice!
