Wow i used to watch this when i was wee. I remember Andrea and those huge chairs .... also a dude with blonde hair can't remember his name but he was on the Don't try this at home show with Davina McCall =]
The CITV branding was used for ALL forms of children's programming on ITV. So if it was a Disney film then it would be introduced under the Disney Club banner - which was a children's programme, hence the CITV ident before it.

This intro is very silmar to Disney Afternnon fom the US
jamesdelboy 3 years ago
jamesdelboy: That's because it IS TDA interspersed with live-action segments intitled "The Disney Club".
TherealRNO 2 years ago
Yes but why use the same intro
jamesdelboy 2 years ago
james: Because without The Disney Club live-action segments, it WOULD BE TDA alongside live-action Disney movies.

I loved Andrea too.

I was on the Disney club when I was wee, they have since closed down the studios in Edinburgh where the series was filmed.
Great memories!

I think I'd find it very distracting having to watch a film on one of those old nine-screen things before the days of big screen TVs!

AidanLunn 3 years ago
Yes I was aware of that but think yes but Children's ITV was on every weekend at 9.25 not in the afternoon
