  • Zomg! MacGuyver!!!!!!

Wow i used to watch this when i was wee. I remember Andrea and those huge chairs .... also a dude with blonde hair can't remember his name but he was on the Don't try this at home show with Davina McCall =]

  • Paul Hendy was his name

  • Yeah that was it cheers x

  • This intro is very silmar to Disney Afternnon fom the US

  • jamesdelboy: That's because it IS TDA interspersed with live-action segments intitled "The Disney Club".

  • Yes but why use the same intro

  • james: Because without The Disney Club live-action segments, it WOULD BE TDA alongside live-action Disney movies.

  • I loved Andrea too.

  • ...But...Macguyver is fighting for his life. Tonight. That's a major news bulletin.

  • I was on the disney club when it was relunched

  • I was on the Disney club when I was wee, they have since closed down the studios in Edinburgh where the series was filmed.

    Great memories!

  • I think I'd find it very distracting having to watch a film on one of those old nine-screen things before the days of big screen TVs!

  • i remember jerking off to andrea when i was 10 !! she was hot !!

  • equity and law ad - very much my time. and McGyver brings back memories.

  • OMG! I remember the old Milk adverts! I remember my nan once met the guy who played the Milkman in a shoestore once! lol.

  • Cup Alternative? Does that mean it was shown beacause of poor weather during Fotty?

  • possible

  • CITV must have been shown twice that day 1st at 9.25 in the morning then agian in the afternoon

  • a) the LWT announcer said "afternoon"

secondly London WEEKEND television. Hmmmmmm . . .

  • Yes I was aware of that but think yes but Children's ITV was on every weekend at 9.25 not in the afternoon

  • The CITV branding was used for ALL forms of children's programming on ITV. So if it was a Disney film then it would be introduced under the Disney Club banner - which was a children's programme, hence the CITV ident before it.

  • As far as i can remember i liked the sunday version

  • that ident was not used until 1992

  • CITV or LWT ident?

  • LWT

  • Perhaps the static version was used before 1992.

  • Sorry i was ment 2 say CiTV my mistake

  • sosolidjordan, that ident was introduced in February 1991 . . .

  • ORACLE is showing the date as being Saturday 18th May. So this must've been in 1991.

  • what year
