  • @Methecos i feel what you say, but you need to leave GOD outta this.

  • God on a relapse and watchin that made me cry...need 2 get back in the rooms, but so ashamed. Can't say what happened @ the last meeting i went to, a year ago, I was in blackout...then back 2 the asylum, then got told what i did @ mtg. Not good. If bubbs can do it, can i?

  • I thumbed up this video because not one person in that room said the word "sober". Being "CLEAN" covers EVERYTHING!!!! I've bin clean in N.A. %100 now for over 15 years.

  • The lessons in the wire have relevance. Been having a struggle myself, while watching it. Sounds weird, but watching Bubbles helped.

  • heroin has ruined my arms, hands, my parent's trust(which kills me because my mom told me that she used to trust me more than any of my siblings)the love of my sisters and brother, my gf which i miss everyday and ill never get her back and most of all, its ruined my life. im going to my first NA meeting tonight. im really nervous, i dont know why.

  • @louie111887

Hope the meeting went well. It takes courage, but sounds like you are ready to make a change. All the best.

  • Was Steve Earle a dug addict in real life?

  • @MyNephewIsTough

Yes - He got clean in 1994, but had been doing drugs in various for since he was about 13. He dropped out of music for about three years when it got really bad... to the point that he pawned all his guitars and was essentially homeless. He got clean when he was locked up. In an interview he said filming this scene was great because it was like being in a meeting all day. Some of the extras were in the program. He is really playing himself here.

  • @MyNephewIsTough

There are some videos here from right before he dropped out of sight - look for "Close Your Eyes" in the list on the right.

  • forgot about this scene. poetry.

  • Steve tells it like it is always because he is a recovering addict himself, as am I. he has given me more inspiration and courage than anyone in my life, other than my own family. You could have looked all over the world and not found anyone else as perfect to portray Walon as Steve Earle does in The Wire. God bless him and all of you who struggle with your own demons.

  • I know that na works!! Just for today I will not use no matter what! 02/27/2009

  • i can totally relate to where he is coming from we do have one more high left it could kill us.I oded on heroin on 4/1/2010 been clean ever since

  • i have been clean for 14 months today i wanted to get high but i got on you tube cause i couldn't get to a meeting and it brought it all back to me. just for today i want to stay clean

  • @terriann78

I remember an interview with Steve, who plays Walon, about this scene. He said it was great because it was like being in a meeting all day shooting the scene. Many of the extras were in recovery (and of course he is as well - no acting required.) Congrats on those 14 months.

  • man this hits home. only 5 days sober. just for today.

  • @jmc647

Hope you have a month in now. Keep coming back.

  • @darlincommitme Clean and serene for 30 days!!!! Picked up my chip Monday night. Thank you for the kindness. It's people like you that make recovery possible.

  • @danfitz2010 technically they want everyone to be getting sober by using NA and the steps as their method but I am on methadone and I go to NA meetings all the time. I choose to keep quiet about it because it's no one else's business but my own. everyone has different needs. It's up to you

  • bubbles was an amazing character to watch develop over the many seasons of the show.

  • pEOPLE ARE WHO THEY ARE, WE WILL MEET SOME OF THE SICKEST OF ALL SICKEST PEOPLE IN THE ROOMS, WE ANT KEEP WHAT WE HAVE UNLESS WE GIVE IT AWAY. STAYING CLEAN IS A CHIOCE, AND IF THERE CHIOCE IS TO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY, THEN THATS THERE CHOICE TO GO OUT AND RELAPSE, THEN AGAIN SOME OF THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE OUT THERE HAVE WAY MORE CLEANT IME THEN I OR U, AND STILL HAVE A BLAST WITH HUMOR. I GUESS IT ALL JUST DEPENDS ON WHERE U ARE WITHIN UR RECOVERY. GOD BLESS.

  • Can anyone tell me if N/A believe in opiate replacement therapy? I heard that their policy is for all heroin addicts to go cold turkey, no methadone, no buprenorphine/subutex prescribed from a doctor. Is that true? Thanks

  • @Danfitz2010

There are a lot of people who get hooked on methodone, which is why the official NA policy is to recommend against it. Yet as Putaspell says, if it works for you and you can taper off, people shouldn't judge you. Look for a sponsor who understands.

  • lol that guy in the movie k.i.d.s

  • the guy he asks to sign the papers is the REAL Avon Barksdale. Nickname: Bodie!

  • I have almost one year clean and sober in April 2011.

  • @smurfangelia777 Good 4 you!!!

  • the kid with the shaved head plays tellie in the movie kids and is a real addict with clean time

  • All you [truly] ignorant motherfuckers need to stop cracking jokes about this shit. Drug addiction is a serious issue that has fucked up more lives than your high-ass brains can fathom. This scene itself stirred me into getting clean again. Y'all are probably gonna read this and think I'm some self-righteous punk stuck on his high horse, but I'm a real person who has been effected in more than one way by this shit.

Grow the fuck up and show some goddamn respect.

  • Im only 14 nd i go ti NA meetings weekly just to listen to the stories so u dont wana try meth or anything im stikin ta weed only

  • @141414Rebecca oh sweetie you are a good gurl you keep doing it you will learn...all you have to do is listen

  • @141414Rebecca N/A for some weed ?! daamnnnnn you buggin

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMcGibletts022 @MrMcGibletts022 Not N/A for weed, N/A for living without it. It isn't about what you used, it is about living life on life's terms without having to use anything. If you can use and still have a manageable life, more power to you, but for people who's life has become unmanageable, N/A offers a new way to live. It's free and if you decide it isn't not for you, you can go right back to living how you did. Whether you work a program or not, it's still your life.

  • ~ MAAAAAN that fool that walked up @ 4:19 doesnt look like he's taken a toke in his life hahahaha!!! Looks more like pusher than user....he's probably on that side of town in the meeting recruiting more smokers hahaha !!!

  • @thegreeniydbandit lol probably just copped out to having to go to those meetings as part of his probation/parole...happens all the time

  • steve earl was truly brilliant in this

  • yo thats Telly from the movie Kids

  • Now i'm not going to throw away the alcohol i have buried at the bottom of my closet, i'll let it stay there to show myself i can resist not drinking it.

I hope i'm not fooling myself, because i still have a problem and i don't want to ruin my life, and i certainly don't want to die before achieving something...

  • This brought tears to my eyes, i was beeing on the verge of becoming an alcoholic, i'm 21 and i haven't drank since i started having problems breathing, irregular heart rythms was taken to the hospital by ambulance twice where they told me i was still healthy and that everyone has unexplainable irregular heart rythms sometimes, i developed an extreme psychological fear of dying or getting sick and stopped weed/alcohol, but i still have a void which i know will kill me if i dont fill it.

  • @TH3USUALSUSPECT hi. can you get to a meeting? do you need to talk?

  • @BRAKESUK80

I do actually, thing is...behind an addiction there is a reason, i may need some other kind of help before i go to AA or something like that, but yeah i definitely need to get to a meeting because i know i could fall back on drinkin with any setback i experience in the near future, let's hope i don't before i straighten my shit out.

  • @TH3USUALSUSPECT

Sometimes counseling needs to be part of recovery - best of luck, one day at a time.

  • I too pawned my National steel guitar, my house my everything. I was hopeless......N.A. (the people in it and the 12 steps) saved my life....I came in 5 years ago, it took e a while to get willing.Today I continue to write steps and go to meetings and I'm clean 1059 days in a row......For addicts who have done enough dope, NA states that, "No addict who has completely surrendered themselves to this program has ever failed to find recovery". I'm here as living proof that this statement is true.

  • @MrDaemonB

Hope you got back to the music. Steve Earle (aka Walon) pawned a whole collection of instruments and equipment. I have heard that people were trolling the pawn shops in Nashville looking for them during the height of his addiction so they could say they had one of his guitars. I am sure there was probably a steel.

  • I think that speech is one of the best performances of the whole show.

  • I know that feeling

  • 1st I love The Wire and The Corner, even traveled back east from Hawaii to see the streets there talking about, not really like that, at least not throw my eyes, went to a few meetings in the area, the cult thing bugs me sometimes too, but there is no leader, there for it's not a cult, like the catholic church and such, now to my own addiction I am 43 with 2 years " this time"

  • longest since I was 10, if anyone has a better way my ears are open, met a guy in south jersey, black guy, and I'm white, blue eyes blond hair, basically I traveled the world to find the right sponsor, sound crazy , it should cause I am, (Skype is how I do step work face to face) if you wondering, don't get me wrong I got a good job and raised a family while using on and off, here are the stats I know as fact

  • An addict any addict with a true desire to stop using can, and trust me I will get high again, can't wait to !!!!! "cook it up & stick it in"!!! But I will do that tomorrow today I'm gonna CHOOSE not to, and yes I did surrender, to the program not god, (notice the small g) an invisible man is not for me but truth, honesty, open mindedness is !!!!! Last thing I have yet to be at a meeting and here someone say

  • @Haoleplumber94 i think you have the same train of thought as me on NA meetings. I cant deal with the religion BS !!

  • @Haoleplumber94

not drug of choice its drug of NO choice

    I have heard it

I am an addict ....beyond human help unless I accept spiritual help .... I WILL USE

  • " I don't know what happen I was going to meetings, calling my sponsor, hanging out with people who didn't use, (in or out of the program) working the steps and got high", it doesn't happen, PPL relapse cause they hang with old friends start listening to uninformed PPL like the ones on this post, and use.. I'm a drug addict I do drugs, no shame in that, the shame is when I'm to fuk'n proud to admit I have messed up !! yet again, 100% recovery rate for those who do those simple things

  • 5%, 10%, 20%, those numbers might be true to get a court card signed or "my wife/husband gonna leave me if I don't quit", so they go to meetings, get there late leave earlier, look around and think "look at all these losers", when there life is falling apart. I know cause that was me, shit I still think that, that's the disease telling me "Fu@k this and these losers I'm good"'

  • but I know better, my own brain wants me to use drugs, that's insane, I got 2 sides of my brain 1 side that says "it's all good you don't need this shit go score some, beer, cocaine, heroin and shoot that shit up" and the other side that says "HELL YEAH LET'S DO IT"!!

If you understand what I'm saying then you do if you don't you don't, either way no one can knock me off my square, I got a choce my choice is to hang with PPL who are positive, in or out of 12 step meetings !! :>)

    ALOHA

  • i remember my white tag XD feels good

  • good clip, i have 6 days clean, and i want to keep coming back

  • @stoneyeyes2000

Just come back tomorrow - one day at a time!

  • @stoneyeyes2000 I like this old timer with decades in the program who asks at meetings: "Who woke up this morning before I got out of bed at 7:00? Well, man, you have more sobriety than I do today. And today is the one that counts." Hope this is your time to get well

  • @FanChicago Thanks for the reply, now i have 11 days clean and almost to 12. I love coming back to meetings and went to my first speakathon in elgin. Great to know people care. Hope you are clean and are living LIFE on LIFES terms

  • @stoneyeyes2000 Earlier today I gave some thought to people in recovery finding each other by way of The Wire. Profound or obvious? Thanks for asking about me. I have a couple of years. I'm proud of that, but living life on its terms is a challenge. Hope this message finds you with a dozen days.

  • @FanChicago

I think that is also true of Steve Earle's music (he plays Waylon here - and is not really acting here.) He calls his song Goodbye, which he wrote in rehab, a "ninth step in the key of C."

  • @darlincommitme Knew that Waylon--Steve Earle--is a muscian. Not surprised that he's in recovery...most people probably should be just to learn how to live. Right? Thanks for the info.

  • @FanChicago

He has been pretty public about it - as his addictiion was public. He wasn't sucessful enough to insulate himself, and ended up bascially on the street before he got clean and rebuilt his career. In an interview he said filming this scene was like being at a meeting all day.

Yep, the steps are life lessons for anyone. I am not in recovery, but have a lot of people around me who are and have drawn on Al-anon.. as well as Steve's music and the Wire - for clarity.

  • love it, everytime i watch it, steve earle is a hero from way, way back, i've got 3 yrs clean and having a great personal crisis right now.....still....alll you can do if keep going on...

  • the wire was so well written!

  • @bigwills9thchnl I don't think it's denial just a differing opinion and a different way to look at the way we choose to perceive addiction. It's more a state of mind I believe. Many addicts still choose to run with "I'm a recovering addict". Whereas I believe I've recovered through the 12 step program. (Not cured mind you!). If people wanna believe they'll never recover then I'm more than willing to agree with them!!!. But when you name your problem it doesn't define who you are IMO.

  • Best TV show in history.

  • 2 days clean!

  • @avd420 and this particular scene gave me a big push to go to my first meeting. A sincere thanks to the writers.

  • it rocks congrat

  • fuck your gay if your sober....no more gettin drunk at concerts. YOUR FAIRIES AND YOU WEAR BOOTS................ YOU GOTTA BELEIVE ME!!! steve earle sucks anyway.

  • Most subtle important part I believe in this scene is when the host says "does anyone have 24 hours, or a desire to live" and after bubbles gets the chain and sits down johnny says but we just got high.....the desire to live.

  • According to African Shamans like Credo mutwa, Even if you have a drug problem you should NEVER call yourself an addict. According to this wisdom tradition of the shamans naming something gives it extraordinary power. Simply naming a problem you are having can make it take you over. Human psychology is not something that can be understood by western Aristotelian logic; It is a subtle science and must come from a higher source, in this case shamanic healers.

  • @tenthousandyearsgoon Serious addictions take complete control long before anyone "names" the problem.Your philosophy sounds alot like denial IMO

  • @tenthousandyearsgoon. When you name something it has the opposite effect IMO. It takes the power from it. Therefore rather than let addiction consume me; I consume it! You can't let go of something you don't have hold of in the first place. Shamans are often called "The wounded healer"; which is how I would define myself having come through a shamanic crisis of my own I choose to call addiction. It's the surrender, death and rebirth process that allows my past to be my greatest asset.

  • @fishkins37 thanks for your opinion bro. I will take that into consideration.

But according to the South African Shamans,

Naming something gives it power, this is what the Zulu Shamans of Africa teach, this is not my opinion or something that I have pulled out of thin air. I learned this by reading Credo Mutwas books.

The knowedge of the elders is always better than our own speculations.

  • One of the most important scenes in the wire. Almost the entire show all depends upon the continued suffering of these addicts. It's sad that so many evil, power-hungry people benefit from the most abject poverty and suffering.

  • Lost a good wife, bad girlfriend...........Steve Earle is such a badass

  • The writing in the show is so damn good. Waylon's speech was so believable.

    I frigging love this show.

  • @mace1337

Great writing... but I think the fact that Steve Earle lived it also adds to the reality. I am sure he has spoken at many NA meetings. I read an interview where he said that filming this scene was great because it was like being at a meeting all day.

  • @darlincommitme

You know, I'm not an American, and I did not know Steve Earle, now that you pointed that out the show is even better for me. Thanks.

  • @mace1337

Earle is one of my favorite musicians - a singer-songwriter. Just does a little acting on the side. He was an addict and nearly threw away his career... to the point of living on the street. He got clean about 15 years ago and recovered his career.

Simon and his staff are great writers, though!

  • God bless

  • yall is good people

  • That guy Johnny (bub's friend) was such a dumbass.

First of all, he always thought he was hard, like the equivalent of a drug dealer just because he was a junkie.

Second of all, he was cynical as fuck but really he was just a weak ass pussy.

And that's why he died of an OD in Hamsterdam like a bitch.

  • he wasn't a bitch, he was just a confused young man, like so many other inner city youth today

  • Steve Earle always tells how its

  • @Molijn he's the best....ever....

  • Shannon Addict, Today I have 44 days clean, in a row I might add. I really like what he said about one more high but not one more recovery

  • in a row. ?? keep coming back and remember, i own na, hammer is my vice prez

  • @12babysteps I'm almost 2 years into sobriety. Best two years of my life.

  • I know what you mean. I was laying in bed last night when I realized that the dreams I had when I first came to the rooms are now coming true. Huge stuff, it's a amazing life!

  • @12babysteps Jason, clean since September 12, 2009. It's not been easy. You're not alone. Hang in there. Steve Earle himself is a former addict.

  • yes eaven after 11 years i've still the sincere disire to live. i 'am german living in france and try to work an american program. at the best of my posibilities.

  • my name is jack and i am an addict. i love N/A. the rooms of N/A have saved my ass. of course i have to my part.

  • damn steve wut happened 2 ya

  • He overcame his addictions, survived them & is still writing music today as well as he ever has, maybe even better & is married (or "over married" as he puts it) to one of the most beautiful women alive ...THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENED TO MR. STEVE EARLE!

  • i was talkin bout him getting fat, he used 2 be skinny

  • @gibbyson123 steve earle, fat, skinny, bald, no teeth, whatever is still the best ever...he's my inspiration in so many things, God bless him...

  • isnt this against our tweleve traditions? ten: the NA name out never to be drawn into public controversy

  • it never actually says NA in the clip, it doesn't even zoom in enough to read the keyrings

  • Comment removed

  • good story i got 2 yrs myself good to see this on you tube.

  • What have I stumbled on here ? Cant believe what I'm reading ! Fact: the steps work if you work em. Fact: I didnt have a drink today ( nor, incidentally, did I have a drink for the 9 years and 7 days consecutively previous to today ) Fact: I'm happy being me. And I couldn't give a good god -damn what anybody else on the planet who wants to critique, or debate,or argue the reasons for that thinks - I KNOW how and why I got sober. God bless the begrudgers and the naysayers. You're the deluded ones

  • you just cursed GOd and blessed him in the same sentence? WTF

  • This clip is fuckin brilliant.

  • That ain't no act , Steve Earl has been there and done all that.

  • The thing wit drunks, It's in the genes, it's a disease, it's not your fault. Bulls--t. Cancer is a disease.Pouring alcohol down your throat is stupidity. The last time I checked, stupidity is not a fu--ing disease. If you are an active alcoholic, you are much better off drinking every day, and trying to control it You either git sick of it and stop, or you pay the price.I was drinking a half pint of vodka at school in fourth grade.I can drink a quart of scotch in ten minutes. Those were the days?

  • i paid the fu--ing price for forty years, before that shit finally wore me out. Now i'm just an a--hole instead of a rotten no good drunken fu--ing a--hole.

I got more money and time too.

Watch Jack and the Offs Videos "arm pit licking orgasm" It will sober you up.

  • jkalih , youre ignorant lol

  • I been sober for two years, I took every kind of drug made for thirty five years, nothing and I mean nothing fucked me up as bad as the booze. Never interfered with my personal life..I loved it too much. I guess I was lucky, I just got sick of the shit. Check out some Jack and the Offs videos, that's how I fill the downtime now a days. Too bad the show ended, it was one of, it not the best things on TV .Good luck...I mean that.

  • I would like to challenge those that have an opinion about how I choose to maintain my sobriety. This is a video for those that desire to quit drinking. Do you have the right to choose another's destiny in life, death, or sobriety program of choice. I think what matters is that its working for someone today. To those that are sober for just one more day congratulations and God Bless. And God Bless the haters too.

  • Amen Sodertech. I'm grateful for the steps, and for the sobriety I've been blessed with through them.

  • Thank you, HP and family, for today's consecutive daily reprieve #5,057 (and a million nights). "I" didn't do this- "We" did! <3

  • One for all... All for one... -- Every man for himself. When the going gets tough... the tough get NA-ked!

  • 1 good thing about these meetings of people in deep s*** in their addictions is it must be one of the few times when blacks & whites are discussing a common experience that is way more important than endless race talk. I bet a lot of people think "wow I can't believe I used to even think that crap was important before" once you've been in the same foxhole with all different pple for awhile (as I have - Iraq). I cant see the speaker n the black dude hitting it off if they met on the street

  • One thing many NA meetings are careful to state is that it is NOT a cure. It is a program of daily maintenance of our spiritual condition. We don't promise that people will stay clean forever and ever, until the end of time. Not that this matters, as there are no scorecards for recovery. Clean time (or, if you prefer, "sobriety") does not equal recovery. I urge any members of 12-step groups who have engaged in argument regarding recovery to consider how it would be perceived by an outsider.

  • I may be uninformed, mindless, cult oriented, ...but you know what, I'm happy being stupid..I do good things for people, I have an awesome family, lots of friends, a new Harley, a new truck and my life is good..I owe myself (and my program...not entirely, but in part > why I'm here) a pat on the back. If you feel the need to debate something that isn't up for debate, you should debate your obvious anger in that tiny little consciousness of yours..you're wasting your smarts my friend..later

  • Harley's are for sheeple who follow a crowd they are told to

  • Yeah...and making half witted, demeaning comments are for sheeple who hate themselves so much they can only find sarcasm and hatred in their own little meaningless worlds....you're sad man...sad but cute. Someday, when you get a life after grade school....ahhh....good luck my friend

  • I wonder what kind of worthless individual talks shit behind peoples back. I know why you did not comment to my comment.

It is because you are utterly worthless and still healing from the intellectual ass beating you got from Isegoria1.

Grade school? You are supposed to be a person with a college education and you can't debate your way out of wet paper bag.

  • At least I'm not letting someone else do my talking...Isegoria? and you DO have debate skills?...you're the best! Maybe when I grow up and become not so worthless I can choose you for my mentor...you're the greatest! I only hope in the meantime that you never reproduce.. just what this world needs is another bitter, unhappy, self-loathing person such as you....I'd be happy to talk about this in person if you'd care to meet sometime..you're obviously a chicken shit yourself..not worth my time

  • Not Isegoria1, again you are completely off with your stupid assumptions. I just watched you get your ass owned publicly on his videos.

For someone who claims to be a successful attorney, your debate skills suck. You draw your preferred conclusion and then skew the information so it fits your tiny belief.

You are simply not smart enough to debate with, it would be nice of your were even smart enough to know who you are debating with.

You sound so happy joyous and free

  • Owned?..your bum chum couldn't answer when I asked him what HE did to maintain sobriety...yet he spends all his resources on here (like his little pawn AKA: YOU!) being a cynic, trying to discourage people looking for ANY help. no debate skills?...I haven't seen you say one intelligent thing yet..hypocrite. Assumptions?.that's all you've stated. People usually see in others their own faults...look in the mirror :) Battle of the wits?...sorry, you're unarmed..I get it, you must be American ;)

  • Having just come across this Earle clip by chance, I am trying hard to work-out who is actually 'in recovery' here.

  • Well said justanotherface! (it is my belief that these people all share the same brain-cell)

  • Your parents must be proud...you SOUND like a semi-intelligent person.. I suppose I don't get the fact that you strive to be such anti-program spokesperson....maybe you should just go to another NA meeting with an Uzi and open fire..you strike me as the type to 'climb the clocktower'. You're so bent on trying to dissuade us with 'no minds of our own'..find some new victims...there are lots of weak and uninformed individuals out there for you to spread your encouraging words..you sir are a twit

  • ISEGORIA..why then do you find it necessary to point out our 'stupidity' and 'cult' ways...is jealousy really that bitter of pill? There are lots of other videos you can wreak your bitter and demeaning comments on..why us..why pick on the 5% that the program works for? You sound like a real expert on addiction..have you lost everything, been near death, had friends die from their addiction, doesn't sound like it. You do what works for you man..in the meantime let us be happy in our ignorance

  • Thanks for posting this. One of the more powerful scenes from The Wire in my opinion.

This, to me, is an accurate representation of what an NA meeting can be like. On the other hand, sometimes an NA meeting can challenge you with tests of your management of anger, jealousy, despair etc.

It is someone saying something like this, though, that can give you a boost of hope every now and then... and who couldn't use a little hope?

  • In the end people can go all they damn want and it still will not keep them clean. I am sure the immature will show up to thumbs down this fact.

I expect it, it is typical of religious cults. They claim to be right because they say they are right. They never once offer any proof. But they do all offer the same vacant look when you see them in public.

Just tell them to prove the disease model once and for all. Please prove to us that the booze bottles stalked you.

  • Out of curiosity, what recovery model would you offer as an alternative?

  • If you need a particular "model" as you put it then you are picking the easier softer way.

Like banging your head on the wall - stop doing it and the pain goes away. No need for a gold star sticker to get it done.

  • Complete an utter bullshit - I did not expect anything less from you. Must suck to base your life on a lie that requires you to repeat it on You Tube.

You say that I must be in denial because I don't buy your brand of totalitarianism recovery, I say you are brain damaged for even trying to deceive people with it on force it on them.

People should give themselves a break and stay as far away from your religious cult as possible.

Stop trying to sell a "program" that does not work!

  • Forced attendance like that which is depicted in the video is unconstitutional. Look it up!

All Waylan said is the typical empty rhetoric found at 12 step meetings. There is absolutely zero proof for the disease model that 12 step sells.

Waylan had not one answer for how, just excuses and pre-programed program praise. Waylan made no sense whatsoever and his speech was filled with circular logic and non-sequitars.

  • Wow here is a thought if you don't want to go to meetings keep your a** out of trouble i'm sure that would probably work.

  • I am against mandatory court appointed meetings. Don't worry, you can buy a signed card somewhere!

  • Actually forced attendance is unconstitutional - The courts have ruled that it is a direct violation of the establishment clause.

  • It has passed the Supreme Court - If you had managed to have an IQ over 50 you would know that.

You are creepy, it appears you like stalking me?

  • hey is that "tally" from the movie "kids"?

  • I do believe it is..

  • great clip from a great show and reminds me of my court ordered bullshit from the 12 step cult along with the jerk that wont sign the card till the meetings over!

  • but your here watching this.

  • great clip reminds me of my struggle with addiction

  • I am like this but my addiction is sugar. Love candy bars and junk food but I know it killing me.

  • damn straight.. if you don't stay, we don't sign. Love it.. the number of times I've been asked to sign before the meeting starts... oh well

  • actually we at rr are going to make sure little power trippers in na cannot sign. felons signing court cards. NA is a criminal enterprise for felons

  • what are you some little na wanna-be? i will find out what mtgs you are in charge of and send people there to sign all court cards and your na dope addict ass will not be able to do squat. quit acting like a nazi punk

  • mr. rational recovery you came across in your comments posted here as crazy as hell...thats ok i am mentally ill myself but i am doing pretty good today.... i googled rational recovery found some info about the program i think you are promoting well i didnt get much info other than a bunch of bullshit and drama bout takeovers, and copycats, OH but i did find you 'people' charge for this (1500 for 8meetings...holy shit drugs are cheaper than that) hmmmmmmm.... makes me wonder !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • RR should not charge people as they are all homes, thanks for covering this issue.

does anyone else like big titted na hookers in mtgs?

  • Prove the disease model that is sold in your precious 12 step and then you can speak about bullshit.

  • i'm living proof...thats all the proof i need..its not 'sold' as you stated ,its free...dont get me wrong i'm not neccessarily for mandatory meetings. i just know what works for me. best of luck to you...you do your thing cuz i'll sure as hell be doing mine

  • That's not proof - it is confirmation biases

I rather like my life based in reality so much more

  • You really need to take an English class. If you are going to insult me please do try to be above an 80IQ.

  • You are incapable of counterpointing me so you stab at a misspelling? You are pathetic.

  • BTW retard it is spelled correctly - Next time look up shit before you step in shit.

  • You blab so much like the rest of the tards that I figured you were most definitely giving us blather in surround sound.

Funny I have a job, unlike millions of Americans. I am sure they would like to pound on you for mocking a situation many Americans find themselves in.

Calling names doe not make you right. It just confirms your lack of intellect.

Again your are still failing to show you have done anything but waste your teachers time. Why don't go back to your Halo and porn binge?

  • You know, funny thing is I agree with you in some regards. Its unfortunate you are to filled with anger, insanity, whatever,..to see that.

  • Anger? No just not tolerant of willful stupidity

  • Yeah, I agree, your not tolerant. See, there I go agreeing with you again. Oh yeah, "teacher"....You get angry when people don't agree with you. Why?
