this video is just amazing , i think i have already told u this but its just great !!! the music and how you synik it in with the clips!! what music is this anyway ? plz w/b
For what it's worth, I give it another 5 star rating from me. . . I don't know what you're suppossed to do with all those little red stars . . . but hey, there ya go. :-)
There are maybe 10 to the 500th power planets (or more) in the universe. Life on other worlds is a mathematical certainty. For someone to say that only Earth contains life they are betting odds of 1 to the 500th power. I don't think you'll find a bookie in Vegas that would take those odds. You are 100% correct in saying that we know the answer to that question; at least those of us who can calculate simple odds do...
You didn't like Enterprise? I *do* see all of Enterprise as being like this video. Imagine going out there alone with no one to call for help and with no set rulebook. What Archer did was exponentially more difficult than what later captains did and he did it with one underpowered ship and a crew who had no idea what to expect out there. His first contacts paved the way for every captain that followed in his footsteps. In the expanse he had to make some chilling decisions.
I've noticed that it's harder to find good TNG clips to make these videos with. They hadn't quite mastered the sweeping camera angles and warp speed effects as well as Voyager and Enterprise did later. The last two seasons of TNG this improved but was still nowhere near the quality of Enterprise. CGI has come a long way in 20 years.
My vids likely don't appeal to everyone. I try to focus more on the beauty of Trek than on the combat-related things. The Klingon combat scenes are amusing because we all know that, one day, they will be allies of the Federation. I suppose combat is inevitable and Enterprise sure had their share of it but I prefer to focus on the positive with the negative a mere sidenote.
Enterprise was interesting because there was no back-up out there and no Prime Directive. It was cool to see them learn from their mistakes and forge the way for the creation of the UFP.
I'd forgotten how gay those uniforms were!

You are right. It is not a remix of the theme, it's an early song by The Corrs entitled "Rebel Heart."

And... Archer said that speech without missing a beat =3 I think we know that the answer to that question is "No... We are not alone in the universe"
