As an experment it would be interesting to tkae ice on a plate between your hand and the spinner ,then see if there is a change from the original readings , Then try putting candles on each side of the spinner and see what if any effect that has on it. I practice tai chi and when I am i certtainly build up a sweat so there must be some temprature effects.

I'v been sick with liver qi stagnation for a long time now about 3-4 years, somtimes mostly when i am not in motion (gym,outside etc) i feel pain and or discomfort somwhere near the liver/stomach, it feels as if a mass amount of QI energies are just stuck in there, is there a way to realse them or cure that? it has been a major suffering for me for the past 3-4 years

I used to do this. I was always very good at it because my hands are usually very warm. The odd thing was that I would use one hand (the right) and the spinner would rotate at the "normal" speed but when I touched a plastic straw in a soft drink cup or any tall thing in the vicinity with my left hand, the spinner would rotate much faster. I lose interest in things pretty quickly, whether they be ideas, people, animals, hobbies. Chi was no exception. For a while, I was convinced chi (qi) was the answer to everything - magic, healing, auras, personal power. But the Chi-Spinner got old. Actually, Spirituality got old. I just got tired of it and started getting into new things like crime and violent criminals. That's my newest interest (it's not really a "new" interest as much as a renewed interest, I suppose.)

Popular scientists would also say there's no such thing as a soul, God, or an out-of-body experience, but I have experienced many spiritual things including OBEs and seeing spirits and I know they are real, regardless of what some scientists may believe. can i make a chi from simple paper?if so im not able to move it :((

Yes, there are instructions somewhere here on how to make one. If you can't move it, try doing it with another person. It's easier that way (like the way I did in the video.)

why a chi spinner? why not something else, i dont get it, why does it have to be a chi spinner, why not a plate, am serious, am curious, why?

Because most people do not have strong enough chi to make something as heavy as a plate move. The chi spinner is very light and therefore it's a simple task for amateurs like myself to move it.

There is one guy, John Chang, who is able to do amazing things with his chi. Most people aren't as good as he is at harnessing and focusing their chi.

it is possible i did have to try myself to believe, just like i still not believe in ufo's from videos. But try it yourself. Best is to use a very pointy thing to put it on. And then put a glass over it, so no wind can influence it. Do not give up after a minute. Try focuss your thoughts on your hand. Give it 5 minutes and you see for yourself. Don't buy this paper, just fold one yourself.

well heres one why dont you try to spin it the other way around and a little tip try using just a tip of your finger tip and move it to either direction.

thats just wind. it doesnt prove chi exists. And yes you can change the direction by changing the position of your palms. Now if you really want to prove chi exists, try changing the direction without changing the position of your palms.

$10! if u wanna make one its not hard, u just get a rubber or eraser and stick a needle in it, then balance a folded piece of paper on it. u just fold it into quarters then unfold it so its just creased sort of. theres a video of some chick making one, i did it and it works fine.

the heat of your hand moves it, cup your hands together till they sweat or rub your hand on a stick and see it run 20 rpm, there is no chi, only states of mind.

Thanks for commenting on my video. You are correct that heat can make the Chi-Spinner spin, but it also makes it wobble at the same time since heat rises and doesn't travel on an even plane. I tried heating my hands with a space heater and then using the chi-spinner but it didn't spin around continuously or evenly so, for now at least, I am still open to the idea of chi.

According to the Chi-Spinner book, here are the chi levels that correspond to your RPM.

0-1 - Very Low Chi

1-3 - Low Chi

3-5 Below Average Chi

5-7 Average Chi

7-11 Good Chi

11-20 Outstanding Chi

20+ Exceptional Chi

Last night, my Dad and Ron spun it together and got an 18! Ron by himself gets a 7. I got about a 5 by myself. I need more practice.

It's so interesting to be able to do this and to know that you aren't moving with anything that you can see.

oh. thanks. i have only gotten a max of 15rpms. i think that my theory for you and your husband/boyfriend (no offense, im just not sure) is that you feel more completed together which kinda.. makes a big unified body of chi, i guess. and alone, you feel seperated which blocks your chi flow.

what are the other rpms on the chart? i thought i saw 3 digits =P. maybe ill try to do it again. i was able to get a good speed on it with my right hand, but not my left.. oh and is there any information in that book about what the direction the spinner goes in? does it mean anything to go left or right?

The direction doesn't mean anything according to the book. If you are very advanced you might be able to change the direction of the spin yourself.

20+ is as high as the chart goes. Anything above 20 is "outstanding".
