I remember this battle. A&T was cheating their ass off. We were supposed to play at a time limit, and only play one selection at a time. They not only went over time, but as you see in this clip they played TWO songs.

Apparently no one knows their/our history. This wuz in 02' (my crab year for A&T). Drumline was model'd after T. No other HBCU is known as A&T and the band directors in drumline wore gold coats life the infamous A&T gold coats our Male directors wore and still wear I could go deeper into the similarities. Also look at the directors. In the movie it was Dr. LEE . A&T director was Johnny " LEE" Hodge. Please do your research and know your history. FAMU had nothing to do with that movie.. but typical for the 100 to try and claim everything..

This was back in A&T was beast.... They influenced the movie "Drumline". Atlanta A&T was actually based on this particular class, 98-2002... You don't hear bands with this type of caliber anymore, not only are they loud, but there quality, power, tone, articulation and cohesiveness is unworldly...
