@prequelmasterpiece Just because it's a hit doesn't mean it's a good movie. Sorry, it's hard to not rationalize that Jar Jar Binks is annoying, that the acting is lame, the politics are boring and useless (cause that's why we cared about Star Wars....the politics), the FX are overhyped, and the overabundance of poo jokes. Sorry, I'll still hate the movie the way I feel like it. Deal with it.

The first three films (Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith) sucked, The last three (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) were the best.

Hey I'm back! Great rant on SW: Ep 1! Yea.. such a shitty prequel. I don't know what George Lucas was smoking considering how the original films took him to the top. But to milk the franchise, let's just push out this unwanted prequel that would spawn 2 more shitty prequels. It's just Ep 1 sucks. It's been a while since I've watched it but that's good thing. Fuck this movie. Epic rant!

I never connected to the characters in the prequels. There is no sense of fun and no momentum to the films. Stop and go story development "highlighted" by extended CG sequences that two years later looked like dog shit. I love the original trilogy and there is no way I'm looking at Darth Vader as the adult Anakin. He's DV 4 Life. Fuck the Senate, fuck the clones...Fuck the prequels!

i had the misfortune of being the impressible age of 9 when that movie was released so i have a small bit of nostalgia for it. At the time i thought it was awesome. Now I think is such a piece of shit its laughable.

great review this movie is full of so many fucking plot holes the movie itself is a fucking plot hole the only good thing about this fucking movie was Darth maul and they killed him off for no reason Lucas gave none of the characters time to adapt that is why this movie failed and the super speed you're talking about is force speed strangely its not in any of the movies but its in the games

Lol Funny ass rant Matt you made alot of good points man. I dont hate the prequels but they have alot of problems. I hate to sound like everyone else but Jar Jar sucked ass and Jake Lloyd needs acting lessons. Im probably one of the few people that likes Jingle All The Way but Jake Lloyds a fuckin cry baby in that movie he gets on my damn nerves. Hes just a shitty actor. 5/5 Matt!

Same here, i liked the prequels at first but now I don't for them at all. Plus it's bullshit how lucas keeps trying to shoved them down everyone's throat. Going so far as to change the face of Darth Vader in Return and the original actor at the end. Not to mention putting that ridiculous "NO" at the end too.
