Absolutely amazing, the fusing of the smallest particles in the universe turning into enough energy to sustain every living thing on earth, Whether it be by the hand of God or the randomness of science either way it's just flat out amazing.
actually there sort of is. space has some particles in it, it's not a complete vacuum, so with a large enough explosion/whatever you could get a low-pitched thump. the human ear wouldn't be able to hear it but it's still sound.
somewhere within the next 5 years they predict (how?) MASSIVE CMEs [coronal mass ejections] that could at best wipe out the total electric grid for years/send down massive amounts of radiation (because of so many holes in the ionesphere/ozone layer, killing millions etc/send a flare directly at earth in which case we would ALL be burnt to a crisp; As for the first scenario-engineers are working round the clock to figure out how to harden or insulate THE GRID
hmm , isn't it true tht there is going 2 be a huge solar flare storm on he sun the days the polls will reverse them selves on earth ? and because our atomosphere (well i can't spel everything rite ) is weaker than it use 2 be ( alot weaker ) it will , or has less strength 2 protect the earth from tht increase of solar radiation .....no i'm not a nerd , it just i find crap like this interesting .
If the aliens were big enough to eat the Sun, I'm pretty sure that they would have enough mass to make everything in the vicinity crash into them haphazardly.
this clip is from the movie 2012, its not real

I'm starting to believe the Sun is just a giant spicy cheese ball that enormous aliens are going to eat one day.
